FONT help please, im confused |

ok i will try and explain this as best as possible....
i am doing a website with basic html and i downloaded a font ... but this font can only be seen if others have downloaded the font too... how can i make it so anyone can see the font without having to download it? does that make sense?

Is It Possible ? Because i always thought you have to download the font to view it. Just like on aim if you type in a font that the person doesn't have they will view it as arial. But what you can do is you can write on like a splash page or something that this certain font is required.
