carrying a purse is not girly-girl. a purse is useful is many, many ways! I carry a purse at school, and I have needed things in there. I have:

pads (you never know. I haven't had my period yet)
money (duh, you need your money for lunch or what-not)
deodorant (sp? anyways, yeah, for gym. some school's don't let you leave stuff in the lockers for gym)
make up (not really important, but you want to look pretty, don't ya?)
extra pencils or pens (you might need it)

so you see, it's important to carry it. even though you don't have to.

You know, I used to think it was girly girl type of thing to have. I mean dont get me wrong, i love being a girl (At times, haha.) But during middle school to h.school. Every girl i knew carried a purse, and as for me? I didnt have one yet, because i loved carrying just a wallet. Its simple, and its affordable. Haha, and sophomore year of h.s. i finally got one, because i needed to carry my wallet,keys, cell phone, scraps of paper, chapstick, tissue,& headache medicine.
