I HAVE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS. AND IT DIDNT COME WITH IMAGE READY..OR MAYBE I JUST DIDNT INSTALL THE PROGRAM.. BUT HOW WOULD I GET A PROGRAM THAT CAN ANIMATE MY IMAGES??

HOW MUCH IS PHOTOSHOP.. BECASE I GOT PS ELEMENTS LIKE 2 MONTHS AGO. ISNT THERE LIKE SOMETHING I CAN DOWNLOAD?

Instead of asking "which one is as good as imageready"
try downloading some and researching . Don't let imageready give you you limits on an animation program , try diffrent programs. Its ok not to follow the crowd with imageready.

Plus you can animate with elements just not everything you can do in imageready

you can basically make like blinkies and banners that like don't have text fade in and fade out but blink in and blink out . same way you would with image ready sorta.
you would make your main layer (layer that doesn't change)
then make another layer that will change
then another layer and put w/e that you want to be animated there.
and go to save for web? and then change the file to gif and then put a check in the animate box.
