close this topic if it's repeated =x

well, im chinese + i've heard chinese words/phrases that, when you translate it, word for word, it's kinda funny even though it's not the actual meaning. i actually can't think of much right now but i know there's many funny word for word translations in diff languages.

ex: "san bah": it's actually a curse/bad word in chinese but word for word, it's 3,8...weird.
:"tien boo lah" means like...sweet and sour ( i think ) in chinese but word for word, it's sweet but not spicy. xP

can you think of any funny/weird word for word translations?

im bored, what can i say? :)

mellow.gif ... laugh.gif Hahahaha. That's somewhat ironic.

o.o

Say or whatever is like four, but it also means die.
So my mom doesn't want to pick an address with the number 4 in it. o.o
