It's funny you brought this up at this time, because my youth pastor just started a new series called "Espresso Yourself", and its just the way kids express themselves.
The reason is called espresso yourself is because there are three parts of Espresso, The Heart (which is the most important part), The Body (which is the majority) and The Crema (which is the white stuff on top aka your "outward appearance")...
So pretty much, like I said they are just expressing themselves they way they know how to....Its just their outward appearance, Im sure alot of them would be really cool, if you got to know them.

Just because someone has money does not make them fake, jeez don't be so close minded. Also I checked your xanga and myspace, and see no evidence of you being 'very into the so-called goth scene'.
