submitting with a div layout, ...ARGH. |

well, i finally figured out how to make a div layout and everything was going fine... until i tried to add a comment box to the main page. i was in safe mode and had been using the manual submit bookmark (from the tutorial here at cb). then i added the code for the comment box, and whenever i clicked the bookmark it took me to an error page saying, "you have to be someone's friend to leave comments about them". obviously, it was submitting what was in the comment box (which was nothing) instead of submitting the html/css. i tried taking out all the html/css, viewing the source, copy and pasting the html for the submit button, putting that in my div and clicking that, but i still got the same error. does anyone know what to do? could the original edit/submit buttons in safe mode not be showing because i'm on an apple? i'm getting desperate here.

change the forms[1] to forms[2]
