so today, my dad reads in the chinese newspaper:

these 4 guys mugged a few girls, snatching their cell phones. one of the guys told one of the girls that he'd give her the cell back for $20 bucks, she gave him $20 bucks and he tossed her cell on the floor smashing it.

not only did they steal their phones, they slapped and punched the girls, one got her purse stolen.

all of the girls were asian.

only one of the boys were caught, he's 13.

i hate how people ruin everything for others. it's so f*cked up. as if my 8pm curfew wasn't bad enough, i'm definately not allowed to stay out later anymore because of this, even if i'm with people.

yeah, there was going to be a city wide curfew here too but a lot if parents got mad because they said that the governement has no right to take away a parent's right to set their child's curfew.

my parents are extraaaa strict. when i finally turned 13, i got to go to 7 11 [10 seconds away, LITERALLY from my house] alone. our city is reallly safe, no gangs, no murders, no anything. thats why whenever i go to my friends house, i sneak out outside w/ my friends to bike around to places all of my friends are allowed to go to places, except me. i'm also barely allowed to sleepover to my friends houses. i agree w/ you ichigofire, the news is ruining my social life too.
