Hi! I'm going to try and make this as easy to understand as I can.
I recently got the code for a layout for my xanga from another user. I really like it, but something in the code has made the things like '' xanga - yournamehere - the door is that way'' and ''subscribe - reviews - guestbook'' disappear. Here is the code that is in my Website Stats box: <!--Get this code at http://help.xanga.com/replacelinks.htm//--> <script language="javascript"> <!-- var links = document.getElementsByTagName ("a"); for (var l = 0; l < links.length; l++) { str = links[l].innerHTML; if (str.match (/d+:d+ (am|pm)/i)) links[l] else if (str.match (/eprops/i)) links[l].innerHTML = str.replace (/eprops/i, "kisses"); else if (str.match (/eprop/i)) links[l].innerHTML = str.replace (/eprop/i, "kiss"); else if (str.match (/comments/i)) links[l].innerHTML = str.replace (/comments/i, "love letters"); else if (str.match (/comment/i)) links[l].innerHTML = str.replace (/comment/i, "love letter"); else if (str.match (/subscribe/i)) links[l].innerHTML = str.replace (/subscribe/i, "cuddle up"); else if (str.match (/subscription/i)) links[l].innerHTML = str.replace (/subscription/i, "love affair"); else if (str.match (/subscriptions/i)) links[l].innerHTML = str.replace (/subscriptions/i, "love affairs"); else if (str.match (/sign out/i)) links[l].innerHTML = str.replace (/sign out/i, "the door is that way"); else if (str.match (/GuestBook/i)) links[l].innerHTML = str.replace (/GuestBook/i, "life story"); }//--> </script> <style type="text/css"> /* by Kim (xanga.com/x_layouts2love) */ body { background-color: #FFFFFF; background: url("http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y56/secretxlove/Pink/heartttt.png"); background-repeat: all directions; background-attachment: fixed; background-position: centered; scrollbar-arrow-color: #FFFFFF; scrollbar-track-color: #FFFFFF; scrollbar-shadow-color: #FFFFFF; scrollbar-face-color: #FF99cc; scrollbar-highlight-color: #FFFFFF; scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #FFFFFF; scrollbar-3dlight-color: #FFFFFF; } table.footer {display: none;} .left, .blogbody, table.footer, .standard, .leftmodulefontcolor, td, p { /* edits main text */ font: normal 8pt arial; color:#000000; text-align: justify; } strong { color: #FF99cc } i,em { color: #999999 } u { color: #000000 } table.footer TD { /* this makes the footer at the bottom centered */ /* leave it alone unless you know what to do*/ text-align: center; } div.blogheader, .caption { /* edits the dates */ font: bold 11px arial; COLOR: #FF99cc; padding-top: 2px; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #FFFFFF; TEXT-ALIGN: center; border-top: 1px solid #000000; border-left: 1px solid #000000; border-right: 1px solid #000000; } a:link, .footernav.link, a.footernav:link, a.footernav:active { /* edits all links */ color: #FF99cc; font:normal 11px arial; } a:visited, a.footernav:visited, { /* edits the links that the user has visited */ color:#FF99cc; font:normal 11px arial; } a:hover { /* edits when user mouseovers the links */ color: #000000; font: 11px arial; border-bottom: 2px dotted #FF99cc; } input, select, textarea, .textfield, .button { /* this edits the buttons, dropdowns, etc. */ border: 0px solid #FF99cc; font: 8pt arial; background-color: #FFFFFF; color: #FFFFFF; } table.left { /* this edits the menu module */ width:150px; background-color: #FFFFFF; border: 1px solid #000000; color: #FFFFFF; } table.blogbody { /* this edits the other the place where the blog is */ background-color: #FFFFFF; width:300px; border-bottom: 1x solid #000000; border-left: 1px solid #000000; border-right: 1px solid #000000; } table.left th { /* on your menu module, this edits the title part of it */ /* like BLOGRINGS, POSTING CALENDAR, etc */ border: 0px solid #000000; font: normal 11px arial; color: #FF99cc; background-color: #FFFFFF; text-align: center; } table.left TD { /* on your menu module, this edits the body part of it */ color: 000000; background-color: #FFFFFF; } table.search TD, table.search, table.announcements { /* border of search bar (if you have it) */ background-color: #FFFFFF; border: 1px solid #000000; } table.search TD, table.announcements TH { /* this should be left alone */ /* unless you know what to do */ border: 1px solid #000000; } table.navigation, table.main, table.footer { /* the width of your blog with modules */ width: 450px; } hr { /* horizontal divider */ border: 1px solid #000000; } table.blogbody tr td { /* this edits the left margin of blog */ width:0px; padding: 1px; } table.blogbody div.smalltext{ /* this edits the blog entry footer */ text-align: center; padding-bottom: 1px; } BODY{cursor:ne resize} }.table.navigation, table.search TD, table.footer {display: none;} </style> <!--AdRemover--> <!--Screennaimless code created by Anti_fukin_social--> <!--http://www.xanga.com/anti_fukin_social--> </table></td></tr></tr></td></table> <ilayer name=""><div id="" style="width:1; height:1; BACKGROUND: #; FILTER: alpha(opacity=0); overflow:auto"> <ilayer name=""><div id="" style="width:1; height:1; BACKGROUND: #; FILTER: alpha(opacity=0); overflow:auto"> <!--Finished--> <!--End Of AdRemover--> If you could tell me/show me/whatever what I need to do, change, add or remove to get those links back, I would really appreciate it. -cry- What do you people have against codeboxes?! -sniff- You shouldn't be using the AdRemover, by the way... It can get your Xanga shut down. And... You just remove this section and the links will come back, though I'm not quite sure why you want them.
CODE table.navigation, table.search TD, table.footer {display: none;} You really only need to take out the first and the last parts though, table.search is the search bar.
