i keep havin these popups especially with the ones day says grab ur free laptop or free tv or something and the free smileys and screensaver popups.. any help? and most of the free virus/spyware scanners dont help

For popups, and spyware you should download Microsoft Anti Spyware Beta from the microsoft site, it does the best job.
You could also try Adaware. If none of that works, try doing a system restore to a time when you did not have the popups. or...switch to Mac.

Ok, for spyware - Use Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware beta - http://www.download.com/Microsoft-Windows-...tml?tag=lst-0-1
For Virus Protection, if you dont have any, use AVG Free Anti Virus, Free Grisoft Anti-Virus QUOTE(artislife90 @ Aug 10 2005, 10:44 PM) or...switch to Mac.  You could do that, and make a Impulsive buy like that. Or just fix it and learn how to protect yourself, which is worth saving a few grand. |
