Moving to arizona |

I was sit at my computer sunday night and my aunt imed me.... we got to talking and she wants me to move to arizona and come live with her because I really hate my life right now and I want to get away from it all... so I'd be moving from wisconsin to arizona... she found me a job down there... I'd go to a college down there and everything... the only thing is that she wants me to have my parents "blessing" about this... I know I am 18 and can make any decision i want... but my aunt doesnt want my parents to hate her if i move down there without their consent... and my parents got mad at my brother for moving about 15 minutes away last summer... so I dont know how i am gonna bring this up to them, and how i am gonna convience them that this is what i want to do...

well...if i was u, i'd jus leave w/o tellin them sh*t if i had a place ta run off to, but in ur situation ta clear ur aunts name, u should jus pack up all ur stuff n on tha day ur movin out, tell them that ur gona move in wit ur aunt, ur an adult n that it was ur decision

well then again may b we r on tha same boat, its not gona matta wtf u say ta them cuz in my experiences it doesnt do sh*t, even if u have a very understandable reason theyre not gona hear u, so jus leave n tell them ur leavin, jus walk out....
im not sure if this advice is fa u or me lol |

you see the problem is is that my aunt wont let me go without them saying its ok... because she doesnt want them to be mad at her... whether it was my idea or not...

i noe but lyk, try ta make her undastand that its not really ur parents decision n e more, its urs, its ur life, u should b able ta do w/e u want wit it, u have tha right ta tha pursuit of happiness......

You should definatly talk to your parents about this. Explain why you wanna move, and that you are in good hands with your aunt. Tell them that you would keep in contact with them, and that you are 18 and have the right to make your own desicions.
