Sketchy or safe?, which street do you choose?

So when you're walking home or to someplace, which street do you choose, if both get you to the same place at the same time? The sketchy, dirty street that'll be more "interesting," or the safe but boring street?

Hah well I decided to be "fun" and took the sketchy street, but daaaamn that was a bad idea.
I learned my lesson. rolleyes.gif

personally, i'd rather take a sketchy street, those really neat streets make me uncomfortable...what if they're neat for a reason? like someone just got murdered and they had to clean it up? ermm.gif

But it was scaryyy. pinch.gif

It was also the street that my guy friend claimed he was almost raped on, so I should really stay away from it...

umm...i'd always take the safe street. i'm very very paranoid. i always feel like someone is watching/following me.

i'd probably take the sketchy street. I take a shortcut to get home, and its near a neighborhood. So the shortcut is in the woods, and when im walking i always see needles. Hehe, someone's getting high in those woods

Because he "claims" it. I mean come on- that's really far fetched. I don't automatically believe everything my guy friends tell me.

ya i would take safe and boring i mean.. its only boring since you've gone on it so many times and of course that proves its safe since ... okay.. i fail to explain my point.. but i like to be safe better then be in any danger. =S

Yeah I agree, that way I wouldn't be so lonely or scared down the sketchy street unless I'm with friends.

I would say the sketchy street, only if its in a neighborhood that Im familiar with. Last time I took the sketchy street when I was in downtown Oakland at like 9 o'clock at night.........and lets just say that I learned my lesson.

I always take the safe street. But once in the afternoon on a safe street, a drunk really old Spanish guy in ragged clothing came to me and told me he was a "famous bullfighter" from Spain or something. Luckily I got away. O_O

There really aren't any sketchy streets around where I live... but I would take the safe street, unless, like previously stated, I'm wish a group of friends, preferable guys. My guy friends protect me from being raped laugh.gif

is it a night or day. If its by day then i take the street with more people and more cars. At night i go the same hting. But sometimes by day i take the route with less people.

i think the question should've been, are you dumb or do you want to stay safe? always choose the safe one. i'm deff. one not to take risks. i would never travel alone at nite either. hmm maybe its cuz i live in a big city, but i at least have my street smarts cut out for me.

Safe way, because i can listen to music and dance and have a blast..it wont be that boring. I mean, the sktchy street wouldn't be fun for me at all. _smile.gif
