Theres this guy who likes me at church. I wouldn't have a problem with that, except he buys me jewelry. I barely know the guy and we're 12. My friends also said that the jewelry had real diamonds and junk. I'm all confused now. What should I do?

eh give it back? i dunno...if you don't want jewelery you should tell him. tell him he can't buy his way into your heart. sounds corny but i guess it's true.

Milk off him for as long as possible.. Accept all his gifts, pawn them for cash, buy something you really want. If he ever stops, give him a little sugar so he'll keep buying for you...Keep it going for as long as you can...free stuff is great.

Tell him that it's sweet of him to buy you gifts, but that you can't accept them as i_am_shoe said. If you don't want them, give them back. If you feel that you should have them, however, just accept them and smile. This has happened to me before. But, even as I resisted they wouldn't stop. I gave in, it made them happy. So, if you want to do that, then there's a third option. Wow...I wonder if that made sense. blink.gif

no offense...but if ur both 12, its most likely fake, but either wat give it back if u dont want it n dont accept n e thing else from him, jus tell him that it makes u uncomfortable wen ppl buy/give u expensive stuff [thas tru fa me] may b that'll work

Both of you guys are twelve damn....thats super young...well....like to me it seems like it is puppy love to me....cause both of you guys are young and like him buying jewelry is something that always has a cause for return and I mean him buying you jewelry there is always a catch to that...and plz believe no matter how old they are...something always is need

if the gift giving is making you uncomfortable then you shouldn't accept it, especially if it is real, i mean it would be a shame for him to be spending all his money for no reason. just be nice to him and say that its sweet but you can't accept

why take it from him? you'd be giving him the wrong idea.. when accepting it.. don't u feel like you owe him something? by taking it makes him think he has a chance... and btw, are you positive he BOUGHT it himself? what 12 year old can afford diamonds? if by chance they ARE real.. their probably his MOMS.. HAHA-- i had an ex boyfriend that use to steal from his grandma and his mom to give me jewelry!

oh, also, one more thing, if you keep on accepting them and do nothing with him, he might be somewhat...ignorant i guess and say that you're greedy or something because you keep on accepting his gifts and you're just giving him a hug or whatever....like he might start thinking youre one of those girls that just want the gifts and such....

I mean, dang you guys are young...so young. It's all puppy love as mentioned before, he'll get over you in a couple of days :-D...so then he'll have another person to give the jewelry to...-->me, j/k...whoa, that did not sound right. Just forget what I said. If he gives you jewelry, it's probably fake. To see if it's a diamond, just scrape it against glass and if the glass breaks, then it's real (haha, I highly doubt that you will do that, never mind..don't do it! It was just a suggestion...a bad suggestion )...another thing, just avoid eye contact and pretend he's not there...he'll hopefully get over it. Good luck!

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that part. He gives it to my brother to give it to me. My poor brother is his friend. I had to tickle him to know who gave it to me.
