help with layout navi and top image

heya

I wanted to use a layout like this and tried it on my lj but it didnt work ... I tried it 3 days but nothing changed I just had this result ....I dont know what to do ..I tried many things from this forum but aaarrg nothing helped

you need a website entered into your profile.

anything that uses name_WEBSITE means that in order for that to appear, a website must be listed in the userinfo. If there is no website, any coding for name_WEBSITE will not work.

I entered my name in the code at *user name here* but nothing changed ~I dont know what Im doing wrong... even codes from free layouts with navy and top image I tried failed T_T

again, you NEED TO ENTER IN A WEBSITE IN YOUR PROFILE.

edit your profile, and look for the textarea to enter in a website.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OVERRIDES.

MODIFY YOUR PROFILE!

ahh sorry my english is not the best now I understand what u meant T_T

but another problem ~

I want to add a image map on the top of the page and it appears always at the middle and not on the top and I dont know how to remove it to the top ...I tried many things but nothing changed ~

hey all, yea it says newbie on my info here and it means it. i used to be really awesome at this stuff but...ya know how that goes. anyway, i absolutely love the butterfly layout, however, i too am having some trouble getting my ovverrides right. at first, all my text was just fine, just no header butterfly image or anything. i read the posts, fixed my website url, and tried again. now it looks just like the preview screen for the layout, just nothing to do with me, and my posts arent there either. what am i doing wrong? can someone help me? _unsure.gif

Graphiteraven, is that your LJ username? If it is, everything looks fine now - I see your info in the sidebar and your posts are showing up just fine. :)
