Okay, here is my problem.
I make layouts. I started a design site. But, I don't know how to copy the EXACT HTML from one site so that someone can copy it and put it in their LOOK AND FEEL.

EXAMPLE.

Say, this is the layout I made.

Whatever I am doing concludes me to this.

I need a step-by-step kind of thing so I can get this sorted out. Thanks!

.... You copy whatever is in header HTML + webstats.
You also copy the page alignment and width.

Are you serious? o_0
Let's see. You click in the header html box, right-click, choose select all, and then press Ctrl + V. Or... You could just always code from notepad and then use that. -shrug- whatever floats your boat.

No, I know all of that jazz. I'm saying, even when I do this and paste it in the LOOK AND FEEL of the other page, I get the same results.

Because.... You're doing something wrong. Either you're pasting it into the wrong spots or... You're not setting the page up the same way.
Like, if it's on left alignment, make it left-aligned on both. If the page width is 725, make it 725 on both.

*scratches head.

I don't understand how I can figure out everything else and no understand this. I want to be able for there to be a codebox for someone to select and paste it all into website stats and that be it. None of this other stuff.

Then why didn't you say so?
CODE
<textarea>CODE HERE</textarea>
Make sure you remind them of the background picture and such. -shrug- Oh, and check 'Edit HTML' before you use that.

Here is my best attempt at explaining what I mean.

When I copy the HEADER and WEBSITE stats, you only get the codes that are put there. When something downloads my design, I want the code to look like this,

http://www.createblog.com/skins/download.php?id=3587

and for some reason, I can't figure out how to.

^ did you read what nyah-neko said in the post right above your post?
That does the same thing as in your example.

I'm not talking about the scrollbar things. I am talking about copying the entire code. It's not working.

What OS are you using? Windows or Mac? Because if you're using a windows computer, then you're just too out there to help. All you have to do is copy the code from the header and webstats into the boxes they belong in and add a note concerning background images, and page settings.
If it was set on center, they should set their page to center. If it was set to 100% page width, they should set it to 100% page width. -.-u
