font problem

whenever i go to open up a font in photoshop/imageready after i downloaded it it always says undredable file.. how do i make it readable?

hasn't said that on mine... I think when you right click on it you can choose like read only maybe? wacko.gif

ok you dont "open" the font.
you just download it.
unzip it iff nessccary .
then put it in your font foler.

then when you go to photoshop, use your text tool to type.

the font folder is located in control panel, just drag the unzipped font into the folder and you're done
use type tool like she said and it'll be there

kay, i went into control pannel and found the font list and dregged my fonts i dl into it, and it said error- unreadlbe/damaged file sooo i downlaoded it again and the same thing happendd
lol what happend!?

the font file you downloaded is corrupt. Or the font you downloaded doesn't work that happens to some fonts.

try this... control panel > find font folder > click file (in font folder) > instal new font > find font > click

..... Where are you downloading them from? Certain sites aren't that reliable. =/
Especially personal/graphic sites that provide fonts for download. It's better to get them from places like DaFont.
