Oh god..they all deserve it..except for ciara..they're all great new artists..but I think John Legend deserves it more..he's a great pianist and in "Ordinary People" he expresses a lot of feelings and emotions. I think he'll win it. He's a great new artist. Then i'll go with the killers. they're an alright band. But if ciara wins, I'm going to go crazy.

^ I know. MCR has been around for a couple years. They only got famous and hit the mainstream when they released "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)". _dry.gif Another MTV mistake.

I vote The Killers. They're ACTUALLY new, and the video was kick ass.

All the nominees are pretty good. I voted for MCR though because I truely believe they'll win, due to their popularity now-a-days. They're a good band though.

i would have said my chemical romance but as you people have said...they're not new. i hate it when people who just have a big year and aren't new win the best new artist award. i think it happened at the grammy's last year or the year before.

I think Helena is more popular right now, Mr.Brightside was a couple of months ago on the Tpo 20 Countdown...but maybe The Killers will win. Ciara shouldn't win >.<

I know MCR isn't new, but I don't really like the others on the list..Yes, at this minute some are probably thinking, "Oh no, how can Pam not like The Killers?! Let's get her!"

MCR gets my vote because The Killers are really just too repetitious for me...I didn't enjoy their cd, I'm ashamed.

I kinda knew they were going to win because every time you turn on mtv2 that songs is usually on.

Ciara should have won because her album did go double platnium in short amount of time.
