UGHHH! what the hell is wrong with society these days ?
I headed last night to go to blockbuster , and instinctively i used my 10 lousy dollars to rent out "House of Flying Daggers" , well it came out when i came back home that it was "Hero" !!!  you dont know how much i was dying to watch that movie . You dont know .....I was a customer not satisfied ........yea you heard , NOT satisfied .....thats it im going back there today , walking up to the counter ....and punching one of the guys in the face "You gave me the WRONG movie Dude!! "  after that ill walk in the corner and go find the manager and Slug him out too !! . well anyways did this ever happen to you?? .....im never gonna go to blockbuster again

omgg like 1028392183021 billion times but thats the only movie store here so im stuck with it. i did the exact same thing like a week ago and i got hero (which i already have) yeesh cant these guys tell asian movies apart -_-

Never been to blockbuster.. if we rent movies we get them from Hollywood Video & I've never had any problems with them! Sorrrry to hear about what happened..

no it's never happened but you should try hollywood videos instead. sorry about your mix up. hopefully you'll get a refund or something of that sort.

Mark, that movie is so good.
 Anyways, we were renting [or bought] Texas Chainsaw Masscre and the person forgot to take out that locking thing to so people won't take the movie and well, we used a knife to take it out and it screwed up the movie.  I don't know what happened after that. I didn't finish watching the movie.

Nope. Never happened to me. I rent from Hollywood Video.
 I agree with Felicia though. All stores are bound to make some mistakes.

Wouldn't that be your fault?
Because the Blockbusters over here, there's a case of the real movie and then behind it is the REAL movie that you take up to the counter. Wouldn't it be YOUR fault for not checking the title before you got it out? |

I never really liked Blockbuster. But they changed their DVDs. Well now there's a cover of it on they DVD when you rent it.

I rent movies from blockbuster online and copy them and send them back. They never gave me the wrong movie. They might though just because I said that.
 By the way Mark, that movie is very good. |

Sheesh. You're overreacting. Just beacuse they gave you the wrong movie doesn't mean anything.
Anyways, that has never happened to me, even though one time, I was renting The Grudge, and the disk was dirty, so I wasn't able to watch it. |

That happened to me when i was younger but it was some other video store and I wanted to rent one of the beethoven (sp?) movies (remember those beethoven dog movies) and they ended up giving me some rated R movie instead and we haven't been there since.

Yah. Maybe about 3 times. But I'd rather go to Blockbuster than to go Hollywood Video to pay my 30 dollar late-fee.

I like Blockbuster too. Things happen once in awhile. I'm sure they didn't do it on purpose...the clerk didn't go "OMG! Calm down, kid. It's no big deal. They usually open up the cases to check if the right DVD is in there at the Blockbuster I go to. I bet if you went over there CALMLY and told them they gave you the wrong one, they'd be happy to give it to you.
Next time, you should probably check the DVD yourself, since you're the one that's supposed to pick it. |

i like to just go out and buy the movies that i want to see, so i don't have to deal with situations like this
. but, i know what you mean, that can seriously be annoying though. but most of the time, i usually catch the movie that i want to see while it's still in the theatres.
