UGHHH! what the hell is wrong with society these days ?

I headed last night to go to blockbuster , and instinctively i used my 10 lousy dollars to rent out "House of Flying Daggers" , well it came out when i came back home that it was "Hero" !!! you dont know how much i was dying to watch that movie . You dont know .....I was a customer not satisfied ........yea you heard , NOT satisfied .....

thats it im going back there today , walking up to the counter ....and punching one of the guys in the face "You gave me the WRONG movie Dude!! " after that ill walk in the corner and go find the manager and Slug him out too !! .

well anyways did this ever happen to you?? .....im never gonna go to blockbuster again

Anyways, we were renting [or bought] Texas Chainsaw Masscre and the person forgot to take out that locking thing to so people won't take the movie and well, we used a knife to take it out and it screwed up the movie. I don't know what happened after that. I didn't finish watching the movie.

Because the Blockbusters over here, there's a case of the real movie and then behind it is the REAL movie that you take up to the counter. Wouldn't it be YOUR fault for not checking the title before you got it out?

I never really liked Blockbuster. But they changed their DVDs. Well now there's a cover of it on they DVD when you rent it.

I rent movies from blockbuster online and copy them and send them back. They never gave me the wrong movie. They might though just because I said that.

mistakes?! it's their JOB. it's bad enough that they work at a crappy place like blockbuster. the least they could do is PUT THE RIGHT MOVIE IN THE HOLDER. it's not that difficult. you match the title on the dvd with the one on the dvd case.

every movie rental place that ive been to has all of the dvds behind the counter. when you pick up one of the cases off the shelf, it's empty and when you pay they put the dvd in before they hand it back to you. (to prevent people from stealing)

That happened to me when i was younger but it was some other video store and I wanted to rent one of the beethoven (sp?) movies (remember those beethoven dog movies) and they ended up giving me some rated R movie instead and we haven't been there since.

I like Blockbuster too. Things happen once in awhile. I'm sure they didn't do it on purpose...the clerk didn't go "OMG! I can tell this guy wants House of Flying Daggers really bad...Lets put this movie in instead just to make him mad!" I'm sure they'll let you rent the right one for free.

Calm down, kid. It's no big deal. They usually open up the cases to check if the right DVD is in there at the Blockbuster I go to. I bet if you went over there CALMLY and told them they gave you the wrong one, they'd be happy to give it to you.

Next time, you should probably check the DVD yourself, since you're the one that's supposed to pick it.

our family had once gone to canada for a vacation with some extended relatives and i wanted to hang out with my cousins who i had not seen in forever. however, my parents were freaking out and to calm them down i was going to get them a movie from the blockbuster which was two blocks away so they could watch a movie and chill, however that place required a license and more money than i had so i went to this other run-of-the-mill video store closer and got what looked like to be "shall we dance?". so i got it and gave it to parents and they played it. however, i soon hear moans and groans and cheesy romantic songs and find it out its PORNO!.

I boycotted (sp?) BlockBuster a loong time ago. For another reason though...I had like a 10 dollar gift certificate that I got for my birthday, and I didn't want to waste it on one stupid movie so me and my sister got a whole bunch of candy and we went up to pay for it and the lady scanned the card twice, so that it said there was 0 dollars left on it (because she scanned it already!!) and told us it had nothing on it and we had to leave. with nothing!! i was soo mad at that girl... personally i use netflix...so much easier....we have had no hassles and have had it for about a year. We've gotten one damaged disc and thats it...but that could have been our fault cuz the dvd player was acting up.
