Toby(Spiritedfreak) had that same experience.

I guess, just find a way to uh, keep in touch with your friends, like the internet.

^ wow, yes. That happened to me about 3 or 4 months ago. I was clinging and everything! I hated to think about leaving at all. Well, yeah. I sorta threw a mini party and talked to all my friends and told my crushes I liked them. 2 weeks before I moved, there was the last school dance (cheap school) and I got to dance with my ex-bf and ALMOST get my first kiss. And almost get to dance with my crush. happy.gif It was really cool. Everyone was buying me stuff and giving me stuff and getting all the hotties to dance with me. LMFAO. What I'm trying to say is, doing something uberly special for yourself. Whether it's a party, a phone party, an internet party, WHATEVER. Have a last celebration. A sleepover perhaps. And keep in touch with long-distance phone & give out your screenname. Haha, beware, people might IM you asking HOW ARE YOU? and How is (your location name here). Yeah, just think about the good things about the place. Trust me, you'll eventually get over it. I still haven't made any friends yet (okay, maybe just one or two _unsure.gif) but you will soon. =)

By the way, where are you moving to? happy.gif

When I moved across the ocean... I found it easier to just... make new friends. Although the whole concept of replacing your old friends is just wrong and does not work for everyone... it worked somewhat well for me... to at least surive. =)

That happened to me when I was in Alaska. But I didn't care because I didn't really hangout with my friends even though I had a lot of friends. I was used to hanging out by myself because I loved to imagine stuff and none of my friends thought it was a stupid idea. So yeah. Anyways, it was easy for me for that. But I didn't like the part when I had to move because Alaska was my hometown. I loved it here. I loved the PCR and the library here. Also the church. Also the nature such as the mountains, the lake, the salmons. I didn't see not much of that when I moved to Anchorage. T_T I was in Dutch Harbor, Alaska that time. Before I moved to Anchorage.

I move about every year or two. I got use to it I guess. ermm.gif

just make new friends and keep in touch with the old. there's nothing you can do about it, that's how life is unfortunately. trust me it's not that bad though, it just takes some time.
