Early bird team?, a small suggestion

Since we have a late night team, maybe we should have a Early Bird one. I mean there are some people that might like to take part in the Late Night team but can't stay up that late, ermm.gif hem hem I know I do. So maybe we should arrange a Early Bird team for those who wake up early =) This is just a small suggestion. Opinions please?

I would join. I'm up at like the crack of dawn (not really.) But I'm up really early and no one's like on when I'm on.

And you don't need permission. IMO, it's kind of like a popularity contest actually. But yeah, you just like make some sort of thing and then start a new thread and blah blah.

how about no.

a. imitation
b. pathetic to begin with
c. let's not become too cliquey- if we continue to isolate people like this, it'll have to stop
d. just...no.back a long time ago when everyone started making clubs, it got out of hand and they closed them all. wouold you like that to happen again? no? so we should all stop copying each other, because it gets old to have a thread and then 15 similar ones. i will close them all if this continues- don't underestimate me

HMMM, I don't know..I mean, I never really liked the team late night thing because I thought it would start some "clique-ish" thing, but they seem to accept all members so I don't think that's a problem. Do whatever you feel is best. But I don't want, like Nicki said, all these "clubs" popping up.

Yeah, it is a bit of a clique-ish trend, but I think it would be okay to just try it, and if it gets out of hand, then those clubs/teams/whatever can be abolished.

i completely disagree. it's not exactly copying, because, well, they're two completely different clubs. i think it's a good idea in my opinion. there's a club for people that stay up late, and then there's another one for people that get up early. i guess some people feel left out because they don't stay up late. i think that a few clubs isn't that bad. but if it starts to get out of hand and everyone starts creating clubs, then it's definitely gone too far.

Isn't this the begining of it? I mean there's TLN, now there's Early Birds, then what? Team Luncheons or Team cB in the Evening?

LOL.

If you really want to get down to it, the word imitation doesn't have to mean copy. It can stand in for something derived from another. And since Team Early Bird is inspired by and derived from TLN, it is imitation by definition.

I'm not saying that it's a bad thing (kind of fun actually), but it could be the begining for chaos. Then again, I could be exaggerating. We'll see.

Is that relevant at all? Anyways, Nas's first LP Illmatic is still the greatest compared to albums of today. Other artists took after his style and made sloppy imatations of that album. Just remember who was up on it first.

Why do you always have to argue with me on every single post I make in feedback? This woman wants to start a team of her own. I said that cBers are always stealing my ideas and that Team Late Night was first. You then try and undermine me by saying that first doesn't necesarily mean best. Was there any point to that post except to throw a subliminal diss towards Team Late Night and I?

I hope you don't think I'm doing this on purpose, silly goose. This is the feedback forum and you're giving a feedback, right? Do you not want a response (if you don't, then don't post in feedback)? My response doesn't have to agree with yours, and obviously, it doesn't it. If it seems like I always argue with you, then it may be that my opinion doesn't agree with yours.

I undermine you? You pleasantly forget that you undermine the topic starter by saying that whatever she comes up with will have no merit because you were the first. Yea, talk about undermining. rolleyes.gif Please. You diss the poor "woman" on your first post! You HYPOCRITE!

LOL.

The whole point of your first post was to diss Team Late Night while mine was somewhat related to the original post. Whatever I am tired of arguing with you and you don't like Team Late Night or me so there is no point of arguing. This thread shouldn't even be here anyways because there the original user can make whatever team she wants.

I don't have a problem with TLN... I didn't diss TLN, you only made it seem that way on your own. The only thing I said was the the first doesn't necessarily means the best. That's all. You turned what I said into a personal dislike when I only mean it as a point for the topic starter to not give up on her idea.

The only people I've ever disliked on cB was Aznkid-somebody and Jason (for a while anyway). If I disliked you, I wouldn't hide it through subtle insults. You may believe what you want, but it doesn't necessarily means what you believe in is true. _smile.gif

She made this topic to see what people thought about her idea. And all Steven said was that she "copied" off of his idea (which is true). Just like every single one of you have opinions as well. There is no need for all of you to jump on him because you didn't like what he said.

Steven, how could CB's Team Late Night have a four year anniversary when CB's only been open for a year? huh.gif And FYI, you didn't see all the other cliques. Perhaps Trish Milkshakes isn't popular anymore because Trish isn't here anymore..?

Anyway..members can start any cliques they want. Personally, I'm not a fan of them, but go ahead and have all your fun. So..start a thread in the Lounge for it if you want it to happen. You can recruit members there.
