when my friends does something to me like pour apple juice on me or something i forgive them after they apologize... but then, i hold grudges against people i dislike.. =/ i usually dislike people that are rude, mean, and well cruel. x_x like, if they broke my pencil or something, i'd always remember it.. and never lend them another pencil...even if they try to apologize.. i dunno their apology just seems fake ya know? what about you?

it depends what mood im in when they do something bad...and its how bad they do it...once a 16 year old hit me with a bottle and then poured water over me so i hit her back and i still have a grudge against her...im usually forgiveful unless they do something really bad...

I'm sort of half and half. I tend to hold grudges, depending on the situation. But at the same time, if it's something that I know isn't a big deal, i tel to be extremely forgiving, even though the person is all "no no, i'm really sorry. I'll make it up to you!" Yea.. I do hold a few grudges though... It's been going for a while -_-

Right - same with me. Moreover, it does depend on the situation. I usually only get in a fight simply because of conflicting personalities; either that, or because they did something that obviously revealed an egregrious quality to them that I don't tend to befriend someone of.

today i think i had a short grudge against this girl.. i dunno.. cuz me and my friend were helping the teacher set up.. and we kept telling her how to do it and she kept doing it wrong.. so we did it ourselves.. but then we had to pull on it.. and then the girl pushed me away so SHE could pull on it.. and it hurted me so bad >.< i mean my arms cuz she like ripped my arms off or something ><" and then we played volleyball against her and my team was winning but her team had 4 people and mine only had 2.. meaning me and another person.. and so then.. i was like trying to burn her by going, "we have 19 points and you have 3" but then.. they started to beat us cuz they kept serving when i wasnt' ready and junk and i kept hitting it out.. i need to practice more.. but im okays now.. =)

i do the same thing you do. i will forgive my friends like that. but when it comes to people that i don't like...i will hold a grudge for a LONG time! it is kinda funny actually. it will of been like a month and i will still bring it up!

It depends on what situation it is. But usually I'm a forgiver.... since I lived my life as a Christian way since when I was born... I knew how to forgive people easily even they stole my money. If they keep on doing bad stuff to me, I won't be their friends no more. I'll forgive them, but I won't be friends with them until my anger goes away. God says "forgive the person even though they did something bad" But he never said "be their friends again. you can always forgive, but you never need to be their friends."

It really depends how serious the offense was..I'm usually forgiving..but there are some grudges that are just..hard to let go.

I personally go by the entire forgive but never forget idea. But even though I want to most of the time. grudges are sort of an instinct now... depending on what it is of course. Sometimes its better to hold a grudge. Otherwise, ur too vulnerable. Just my thought =P

I never have a reason to hold a grudge. Someone does something I forgive them, to me it doesn't matter who it is. I just see no point in holding a grudge against them. What's it supposed to show? I just brush it off and let them go.

As for myself, it's really easy for me to forgive someone. I really hate that, but it's hard to continue holding a grudge for long, especially when the fight is over between us or anything. Whenever I have a fight, I always tell myself something like, "I HATE her. I'll never talk to her again, I can't believe I was friends with that b*tch." But after an apology or like...a talk or anything, I'm over it.
