my rule was 16, but then my parents split up when i was 10, so the rules changed. my first bf when i was 11, but it was one of those childish play-dating things and only my mom knew. i think my parents were pretty good with it, they let me date when i was young, but they made sure i didn't "do anything." i have more serious relationships now (i'm 14), but they won't let me go out on an actual DATE until i'm 16.

i can't date until COLLEGE. but what my parents don't know, doesn't hurt them. :) my policy is as long as i know what i'm getting in to, i'm going to date date date away.
