umm this may seem kinda weird but i just wanna know if anyone feels the same. ok lol like when i see a spoiled kid, i start crying. mostly because im thinking how hard it would be for the parent. a few days ago i went into a pony keg with a friend, and there was a girl in there yelling at her mom and crying and sayin "mommy i hate you" and stuff becasue her mom didn't buy her starburst. it just...made me quiet for a while and for some reason i like...couldn't talk. is this a phobia or something???lol that wud b some weird phobia. cuz im weird. but like, the other day i watched pinnochio, the non-aniamted version, (lol) and in the beginning there are all these kids going to a toy shop asking for a million of things and crying when their parents dont want them and dont want to pay. i mean...these were greedy kids. i was crying, and nobody else felt the same way i did. also, my grandparents apoil me, and i absolutely HATE it. i ahte the feeling that theyre giving me all this andya dn giving me thigns when id rather jsut be tlaking to them and aslo when kdis in porer countries dont ever get treated liek this. half of u r probably like, jeez this girl is stupid and weird, but i jsut want to know if this is normal.. errr or WHY am i being like this????lol sry that was long/

They'll never be able to live on their own. So they pretty much get what they deserve eventually so it's not really worth crying over.

i guess its normal ......people react differently to different things so its ok ...telling by your actions you seem to be sensitive to things that relate to alot of negative outcomes and actions .....i would do the samething ....sometimes i realize , why the world is full of sin ....why were so spoiled ....why this and that ......but i guess we got to live with it .....it would be better if we did it the opposite way ...now dont we ? _smile.gif

Yes, it's normal. It just means you're very sensitive to this particular issue and that it affects you emotionally.
...right?

Hm... it just shows that you're overemotional. And yeah, I guess some kids just want anything they see. Too bad they don't realize that parents can't always take yes as an answer. But then again, they are little kids. I guess it's really the parent's fault for spoiling their little kids so damn much, or else they wouldn't be like that.

Umm, how strange, you say you would cry when you see spoiled brats but you don't cry everyday. You must live in a nice neighborhood with well-behaved, saintly kids. Good for you!

It pisses me off, but I wouldn't really care. It's their life, and plus, it's the parent's fault they didn't give the right discipline.

I don't cry, I just feel bad for that person, but many times it's the parents' fault their children are like that... that's the reason they're called "spoiled".

No doll, it's not a phobia, just extreme empathy.

I cry when I think about how badly my younger brother treats my mom.

I don't really cry or want to cry when I see really spoiled kids in public, but it does piss me off. Sometimes I feel like the parent deserves it for raising their child badly, but now I'm beginning to understand that it isn't always the parent's fault (because my little brother is such a brat, and my mother is a perfectly fine parent).

Lol.

Well, I've never heard of crying.
Wow though, I've never met anyone so...deep.
I usually feel horrible at how the kid is treating his/her parent.
My friend's little brother was hitting && beating his mom a while back. And he was about 10 or 11 too.
Eek.

I think you responded that way because it stirred a memory of an experience or something else that you associated with it. You might have been relieving stress or something that you haven't dealt with grabbed you when you saw that happening. I've had that happen to me, too. I get even more emotional than that sometimes when I see kids that are really sick from cancer because of the memory of my treatment. I do that sometimes when I see extreme abuse, neglect, incest...stuff that happens to kids that they didn't cause.

I KNOW. Little kids who are spoiled piss me off sooo much and I feel so bad for the parent. But then, at the same time, I get mad at the parent for spoiling them, even though it's not their fault. I don't cry though.. it just makes me think of how spoiled I was as a kid. Except when I was little, if my parents got me something that I had to cry or get mad about to get, I would feel sooo guilty I'd give it back immediately.

Some people really DONT know the value of money though.. Ever since I started working with my friend this summer, I feel so guilty accepting my parent's money because they worked so hard for it and I just SPEND it. Bleh.

And those kids are going to grow up with no one liking them because they're so used to getting what they want and they're NOT gonna get it in the real world.

Yes, it is VERY weird. Let's be honest, it is. U crying when looking at spoilt kids makes you seem spoilt. You're crying for no reason. Get over it. Rich kids get what they want, and that's the way it is.

Ok...I'm spoiled...and I don't act like that.
It all comes down to whether or not they are grateful for what they recieve...
I'm happy for everything I have and I cherish it all.

And if they aren't thats the parents' fault for letting their child walk all over them. They need to take charge.

But I don't think crying is necessary...

You're very very very deep and sensitive on those stuff. Wow I can never do that. I would just get mad at those spoiled kids and say poor parents.

But anyways in the last sentences of your speech. Umm... lots of spelling corrections needed to do.

its normal to want to be spoiled...and enjoy being spoiled.

you should enjoy it while it lasts. if they start thinking you dont want to be spoiled..it might hurt their feelings. its a sign of you being their favorite granddaughter..hehe

i enjoy it laugh.gif

i hate the kind of spoiled kids like the ones on MTVs SWEET SIXTEEN or Laguna beach the ones that could get whatever they want like 600 dollars pair of shoes, when they could buy much better stuff
