I found a stock image the other day that just SCREAMED to be vectored/vexeled... and so this morning I sat down and I did it. And it's only my second, so go easy on me.

Featuring: random person (I don't do celebrities)
Program: Photoshop CS
Layers: only about 150, actually. I guess I go more simplistic than some of you.
Time: ohh, about three hours? With breaks?
I like: The lips and the eyes
I dislike: The fact that she doesn't have a nose, the fact that my sister thought the black thing she's leaning up against is part of her hair (understandable, I suppose), so she thought her hair was uneven... probably just the overall skin tone.

What do YOU think?

i love how you did the eyes and the lips.
but i wish you would've done a bit more shading with the face though...

agree with the shading.

hm. i think vectoring celebrities gets more criticism because you can compare the vector to what the celebrity looks like?

Pretty nice vector, considering the fact that I don't know how to and I've been lazy all this summer to start learning, but. Her hair looks sort of sharp, though, but love the shading.

Anyhow... See, that's why I don't like the nose, because I DID do it... for some reason between the original image and how it posterized, the shading for the nose didn't really... come through. So it's there *rolls eyes and sighs* it's just... HORRIBLE.

sry for double posting, but i cant seem to think straight
i meant you should just make it hair, so add sum hair the bottom corner
if the thing she was leaning against was a different shade than her hair, that would work too

Pretty good. Try not to make your shapes so angular next time.
