we've all watched ( or should have watched) those movies where the president dies or is in a coma and then they find a lookalike to fill in his role...

well, evidence that bush is already dead:

1. decline in thinking and speaking skills-
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/video1019.htm

2. d**k cheney, karl rove, WHY do they seem to be running the show?

3. supposition that "bush" was wired during the presidential debates- it makes sense if you assume that the "bush" we see is just an averge joe who looks like him.

we shouldn't forget that bush:

1. was a ivy league graduate
2. got the equivalent of a 1560ish something on his SATs
3. got elected the governor of texas

so, is the buffoon we see not the real president? is the real president in a hospital somewhere, or dead?

I hope the president is dead. _smile.gif Anyways, those are good points that you bring up. But I believe the president is alive and well, sadly, and is off on vacation like usual so that's why the vice-president is doing the work.

back in the 60's everyone thought paul mccartney died in a car accident and had been replaced without the public's knowledge. clues included:

from abbey road
--paul is barefoot
--paul is out of step
--there is a car on the cover with the liscense plate "28if" because paul would have been 28 IF he was not dead
--they are walking in a funeral procession john being the priest, ringo being the pall bearer, paul obviously the corpse, george the grave digger\

from the white album
--"the walrus was paul"
--if you play number 9 backwards it says something like "i killed paul" (i cant get mine to play backwards, and i dont remember exactly what it says)

from sgt. pepper
--"A Day in the Life" is about paul's "car accident"
--Paul is holding a black instrument on the cover

those are the clues i know off of the top of my head. i mentioned paul being dead because it's just as wacky, only it was on a much larger scale. this being a thread on cb, the paul is dead thing was world wide. it's silly either way though.

There's a movie like this. It's called Dave. It has like some Klein dude in it. It was interesting, and yet extremely boring.

I also read a book about this. It's called "Deep Six" by Clive Cussler. The president is kidnapped, brainwashed, and then brain re-wired by a crazy Russian brain doctor. Remember in Spiderman 2 how Doc Oc had that chip at the top of his spine? They put a chip in him, and they can control what he does through that chip. But to pose as the president, they got one of those late nite people who act like him, to literally BE the president.

In reality, this could be true. The goverment could put a lid on anything they want.

And Elvis isn't dead. He just went home.

I think I know what happened.

Long ago, Jeb Bush was on a patrol near the North Korean border, and he was kidnapped by Communists, along with his entire patrol. He was brainwashed by all the Communist leaders, then sent back to the US, where he was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. Meanwhile, his domineering mother used his return as a political catapult for her son, George, to run for office. But unbeknownst to everyone else, Jeb had been brainwashed to assassinate his brother George when he ran for office. Thanks to the nightmares--not to mention quick thinking--of Jeb's commanding officer, Ben Marco (who bears a striking resemblance to Frank Sinatra, I might add), the day was saved, and George was not assassinated, and eventually became president.

the great cover up.

bush might have been assasinated; nevertheless, having a president die isn't very good for moral. therefore, the bush admin. decided to just hire a guy who looks like bush to stand in for him.

so far they've duped the american public.

but it all makes sense now.

Okay, don't start bitching at me because I didn't read because I did read the "arguments" and this is what I'm saying. George W. Bush is not dead. They never assumed any other president was dead. Maybe people just want George W. Bush dead, so they're creating wild rumors such as this. When other presidents got assassinated or killed, it was a very big deal. They would have processions and they would honor them. Why would they want to be covering it up right now? I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to agree with Jason on this one. If George W. Bush were dead, there would be some solid facts about his disappearance and it would be all over the news. I know I might sound ignorant, but it's true.

His SAT was equivalent to 1360, not 1560, I thought. Hmm.

Well Bush ran on an intellectual-style platform the first time for Congress and got crushed, for the same reason Kerry got crushed for President. I think he just toned down his message.

well, he basically bought his way into school. He was a C- student who happened to have connections because his father was the president. Anyway, he's an idiot. I t wouldn't be surprising if he forgot the debating skills he once had. all it is is him slacking off over the years and not being as serious as he was 10 years ago. I wouldn't say that the original is "dead" just lazy and unmotivated.

ah... conspiracy theories... fun.

[sarcasm]yeah, bush is dead, the government is controlling our minds with flu shots and cheese is the weapon that the government uses to make us their zombies.[/sarcasm]

okay, as for your points...

1. Bush is put under a lot of stress with his position, any decline in public speaking skills is most likely caused by that.

2. those people aren't "running the show" they advise bush and stuff like that, but they don't run it.

3. I'm not even going to respond to this "point"

I guess I should thank you for putting this topic up; it made me laugh harder than I have all week... silly crazy people...

Hmm.. I bet George W. Bush is dead because he couldn't decipher the message on a Danger sign and decided to jump in the pond full of alligators anyway.

The original was "okay". I never saw the new one.

The original had a good cast, but it was like a lot of old movies--it made assumptions that weren't proven in the film, but the writers/directors hoped an audience would swallow.

Someone said they saw the new one and it just had a whole bunch of political bull in it. Doesn't suprise me..

The old one was on tv..but I was too lazy to watch it. I think i watched CSI instead.

Ha ha true. But still, I guess I'll just go rent it cause it has Denzel in it. He's a pretty darn good actor.

What exactly was the purpose of this thread again?

Ohh right.

Well. I watched the new xXx movie, no it's not porn, but it has William Defoe as the Secy. of Defense, and well, he attempts to assinate everyone in front of him so he can be president. Now, hrmph, this would be very interesting. But I highly doubt Ice Cube would come to the rescue. Xizibit, or Scott Speedman, or Samuel L Jackson.

I wonder if all these movies about people taking over as president are giving the wrong people too many ideas.

Ok i seriously dont like this big brother thing.

That's hypocritical. At least John Kerry fought in Vietnam--unlike Bush, who joined the Texas Air National Guard, then, at best, left his post to work on a politician's political campaign, and at worst, went AWOL to do political work.

How the right-wing can uphold Bush's actions in Vietnam while discrediting Kerry is beyond me. Say what you want about Kerry--at least he did his duty in Vietnam and didn't use his father's political power to shirk his responsibilities.

^ bush transfered to the alabama nation guard too, and he was never seen on base.

sure, kerry shot himself in the foot to get out of vietnam (self-inflicted gunshot wound was the reason for one of his purple hearts), but at least he went.

I'd rather serve in the air national guard as opposed to completely turning my back on my brothers and shoot myself just to get out. That's just pathetic. And this guy almost got elected.

Oh, and by the way, I'm not part of the "right-wing" thank you happy.gif

Well, as noted, Bush didn't quite "serve in the air national guard," did he? He never really fulfilled his duty, which generally involves at least reporting for duty.

Although sometimes I agree, that's a really disrespectful thing to say morally. He's the president of the US for a reason. I mean, you can't really say that about someone whose status is so high.

Um. Most people know my disliking for Bush. But that was stupid.

You can't help choking on a pretzel. I could choke on a pretzel too. I choked on a piece of thread the other day for Pete's sake..does that make me stupid?

Choking on a pretzel isn't what makes him stupid. I don't even think he's that stupid. Just .. illogical.

Ok, I must say, your stupid for thinking he's stupid for that reason. I wish I was there the next time you eat pretzel and you choke. I would laugh so hard. Laugh and not even help you... Ok, I would help you, but I'd be laughing while I was. I think I'd rather be caught choking on a pretzel then with my pants around my ankles. happy.gif

Oh, and sadolakced acid, America is a lot more then just freedom. And I'm sure you realize that. It was just the way you kept repeating yourself made it seems as if that was the only reason you believed.

we've all watched ( or should have watched) those movies where the president dies or is in a coma and then they find a lookalike to fill in his role...

well, evidence that bush is already dead:

1.  decline in thinking and speaking skills-
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/video1019.htm

2.  d**k cheney, karl rove, WHY do they seem to be running the show?

3.  supposition that "bush" was wired during the presidential debates-  it makes sense if you assume that the "bush" we see is just an averge joe who looks like him.
we shouldn't forget that bush:

1. was a ivy league graduate
2. got the equivalent of a 1560ish something on his SATs
3. got elected the governor of texas

so, is the buffoon we see not the real president?  is the real president in a hospital somewhere, or dead?
*

I saw this movie, they stored the president in the base ment of the white house though.....

because you'd have a million southerners (the ones that voted for him, obviously) storming through the white house with a pitch fork in one hand and a torch in the other.

60% want him dead? if that's the case...he wouldn't even have been reelected. (well, he wouldn't have gotten the popular vote.)

You have nothing to back that statement up. Let's take a look at two key facts regarding Kerry and Bush's military service:

1. Kerry actually served in Vietnam and by most reports, served honorably as an officer, and won several Purple Hearts after he was wounded by enemy fire in Vietnam.
2. George Bush joined the Air National Guard, but never truly completed his duties while there. At best, he was excused from his duties (thanks to political pressure) to serve on various political campaigns; at worst, he went AWOL to serve on political campaigns. Not exactly a fulfillment of his duties.
