I searched and couldn't find a topic on these guys.

Well, Breaking Benjamin is an alt rock band that I love very much. Any other fans??

-Please do not post in here if you hate them. There is simply no point and it might spark an equally pointless argument.

^ Are you kidding? That dude's vocals are the reason why I love them so much.

Breaking Benjamin rocks. That guy has such a deep voice. Their songs are awesome. Sooner or Later and So Cold rock my socks.

I love Breaking Benjamin. I first heard them at an Evanescence concert and was like, "woah." The vocals absolutely rock, I love his voice. I am in love with the song "So Cold."

Yeah, I like Blow Me Away. Heck, I like all of their songs, what am I talking about?
And I became a fan after seeing them live last year with Evanescence as well. Gotta say, they put on a great performance.

Breaking Benjamin is incredible!

I saw them live a little over a week ago, but I can't stand it that no one knows any of their songs except for the 3 that they've released.

If you're interested in Breaking Benjamin simply from the 3 songs they released, please look these songs up......

Polyamorous
Breakdown
Firefly
Away

Their new cd is awesome, it's called "We Are Not Alone" and their lead singer has one of those special voices that no one else in Rock has or probably ever will, that's what makes them so good. Check 'em out!

I heard a song or two, but don't like them.

I don't hate them or think they suck, I just don't listen to hard rock.

and the vocals I would say is not a high point of this band. They sound like they're going through a cheese grater.

vocals are definitely a high point, and he sounds just as good live, but I guess you have to be a rock/ hard rock fan to understand, so don't worry

I'm a huge fan of rock music, but I guess I need to hear your interpretation of hard rock, so I can figure out whether I don't like it or not?

so cold is just so great when preformed acoustically.

"we are not alone" is a little better than "saturate" but both are suburb.

i love shallow bay:

BREAKING BENJAMIN - Shallow Bay Lyrics

come on
the sun will rise
another time
the colors blind
your virgin eyes
I'm so inclined
to make you mine
you're out of line
and out of time
[chorus]
and I float upon a shallow bay
lift me up until the ground gives way
I'm a California castaway
I don't think you wanna f**k with me
don't over kill
this painless thrill
it's bitter still
your pretty pill
you wait until
you've had your fill
I know you will
I know you will
[chorus]
a shallow bay
a shallow bay
[chorus x 2]
you live, you learn
you live, you learn
you live, you learn
you live

I've seen them live, in 2003 on their old CD. great live band, very energetic. I have their old CD on my comp, but I don't listen to any songs other than "skin" and "sugar coat" <<right?>>, everything else on there is kinda played for me cuz I've had it awhile...

"So Cold" was on heavy rotation when it came out last summer. Good video, decent song....

i say if you haven't heard of Breaking Benjamin, find the songs "Follow" and "Blow Me Away"

both of them are two of the bands best songs, if you like them, you'll like the band, if you don't, it's not your type of music, no biggie

Blow Me Away is a great song to start out on. So is Follow, Breakdown, Firefly...okay, I'm just going to start naming all the songs, so just go and look at all of the songs. They truly are a great band (imo) and if you don't like them at first, they'll probably grow on you. And yeah, I wish people could hear songs other than those three. Or at least research. But hey, oh well. I LOVE Ben Burnley's voice. I could pick it out anywhere, it's so unique and...yeah, I just love it.

Breaking Benjamin are awesome. I went to this thing called X-fest in dayton ohio just to see them it was well worth it too. Ben's vocals are just soo gritty (IMHO). their songs are grea too, and almost everyone can relate to at least some of what they say.

Well, there was a rumor that Seether was going to tour with Breaking Benjamin starting in November....however, since Seether have rescheduled their European tour to Nov/Dec, that rumor has been squashed...unfortunately. I would have loved to see those guys on the road together again.
