Again?

"British police said Thursday that emergency services were responding to reports of incidents at three London Underground stations.

"Incidents were reported at Oval, Warren Street, and Shepherds Bush stations, and the Metropolitan police said incidents were “ongoing.”

"Separately, a spokesman for the transit system said there were no reports of casualties.

"An eyewitness reported seeing a bag explode at one of the stations, Sky News reported. Other reports said that smoke was seen coming out of a train, a fire brigade spokeswoman told Reuters. The reports could not immediately be confirmed.

"More than 50 people were killed two weeks ago when four bombs hit three underground trains and a red London double-decker bus.

"The attacks have been blamed on four Muslims from Britain and police say they believe al-Qaida were behind them."

It looks like they were just minor explosions--possibly a copycat crime.

Right, lately. But it's not as though terrorist attacks only ever happen in London, which is why I say that it's not as though it's a terribly unsafe place to live (or significantly more unsafe than other areas of the world).

^ That's good.

But, it's still terrible. As if the first attack wasn't enough, they've got another one to deal with.

Agreed. Although I'm not entirely sure if the bombers of today's attacks were or were not affiliated with those of the previous ones. _unsure.gif

brokenxalone, the Iraqis weren't a part of this. They do not need to be bombed. So stfu.

I feel sorry for the people who have to live with that. Yeah, I heard that everyone is using their bikes instead of cars to navigate throughout the city. Why? I have no clue someone please answer that. Haha.

London Police Kill Man Day After Transit Attacks

"Police shot and killed a man wearing a thick coat at a London subway station Friday, a day after the city was hit by its second wave of terrorist attacks in two weeks.

"The man died after being shot by officers at the Stockwell subway station in south London, police said.

"Passengers said the man, described as South Asian, raised suspicion wearing a winter coat in the heat of summer. Most said he wore a backpack, according to Reuters, reminding many of images of the four suicide bombers behind both the July 7 and Thursday's attacks."
