Eh, the cB chat is visible to everyone, including non-cB members.

So many people go in there just to annoy us all, or request a layout.
They keep starting shit.

Do you think the chat should only be available to cB members?

Stop bitching; just make an exclusive VIP chat.
...
Last summer, if there were idiots in "createBlog Chat," we just all shifted over to "cB Chat"

But I don't even have 750, neither do a lot of the cB chat junkies.

VIP chat... haha... just the thought of "VIP"... yeah. quite funny.

And what if that person knows about "cb chat"? What if your post just now gave it away to anyone who just so happens to read it and want to annoy people in the original createblog chat?

Yet, if someone's annoying... that's why we have the ignore button. But, I like messing with them. I find them somewhat amusing sometimes because they're too caught up in responding that half the shit they say doesn't even make an ounce of sense.

*shrug* I wasn't saying you had to use that chat name. I was just sharing what we did last summer, not that any of you care anyway.

I think it's a pretty good idea. You have a general chat for everyone, and then an invite-only-type chat for people who aren't being annoying. It's a system that works.

Um, there's no way to have an AIM chat be available to people with a certain post count anyway, so there's no point...

Exactly. CB and AIM aren't affiliated so there's no way you could prevent other people from coming in. There's an ignore button and a VIP chat, so utilize them.

no it's not. it can be designed just like the other programs for official members are---you have to sign in. that would prevent people that aren't allowed in the cb chat to get it.

well, that would probably help out a little but we all know full well what they will lead to. (just like the xanga request forum) people will spam for exactly 50 (or whatever the number of posts is) & then they will go into the chat & just be annoying. ermm.gif

But then you can delete their accounts or suspend them. If they come into the chatroom, we can just ignore. Then you'd know who is a trustworthy member or not. I think the idea of having the chat available to only certain people is a good idea.

I haven't been in cb chat, but I'm gonna give my comment anyway. I think if it's called "cb chat" it should be available only to cb members. Other people shouldn't be allowed. Members that wish to get in must have at least 50 posts and a minimum of 3.0 per day.
