Yeah, so... what do you think of them?
I think they're good... You should really check them out if you haven't heard any of their songs. My favorite songs would by them have to be "Bleeding Mascara," "Right Side of the Bed," "This Flesh A Tomb," and "A Song for the Optimists." Well...? |

Atreyu's alright. I've only heard of them once or twice. I listened to "Bleeding Mascara". That was a good song. I liked the end where the guy said," She's back..". I'm really not into the screamo scene though.

Well, I really like Atreyu.
I'm not overly fond of The Curse, however. Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses is my favorite album. I wish I could see them at Warped this year. :| |

Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses = good (for the time)
The Curse = omfg, what happened? Next Album =  Example: Avenged Sevenfold Sounding the Seventh Trumpet = good Waking the Fallen = mind-blowing.....great album, in my opinion City of Evil = omfg, who is this band masquerading as A7X?? Same thing, only Atreyu went down a lot faster than A7X. |

well, since the topic has shifted a bit....there's other good examples of bands going down...
Slipknot - Self-Titled - Cutting edge and crazy in '99 and '00 Slipknot - Iowa - Mediocre, catchy, and forgivable Slipknot - Vol. 3 - Nice but wtf happened? on a screamo-ish note (I do not want to be jumped by the hardcore policia) The Used - The Used - Strong and promising, good screams and great lyrics although I never really liked them... The Used - In Love and Death - Dear God, they could have done so much better. And there's always Fall Out Boy (only ranking what I've heard) Fall Out Boy - Take This To Your Grave - Nice little pop-punk band with nothing really original to say. Sure was catchy, though. Fall Out Boy - From Under the Cork Tree - Who killed me? Why am I in hell? However, if all of their videos kick as much ass as the video for "Sugar...", I might be promoted to Purgatory. Oh yeah, I better say somethine about Atreyu on this post, since the thread is really about them.... Atreyu....one band who really grabbed my attention when their last album came out. They were very promising. I would have thought they'd go harder, not softer though. Kinda disappointed me.....same thing with MCR. |
