EDIT(I jus realized i spelled "oragami" wrong for the title haha sry pinch.gif)

my friend stayed up the night before my birthday [july 7th] to make me all these oragami stars & in each one that has lettering on it [they say friends forever] she wrote something different in. soo pretty much when i feel like we are drifting apart i can open one and remember.

she wrote inside:


memories that are interwined
stars mixed & jumbled,
they'll always shine

to keep our friendship
going & going

the memories are stored and will not be showing

i thought it was the sweetest thing =)


this is my advice to you:
when you found a friend who you know is loyal, kind, and worthy.. don't let go of them because they don't come very often.

i used to make those...but the points of the stars hurt my fingertips after i make a lot in one sitting.

i made 100 for my boyfriend on the 100th day we've been together, i wouldn't want to write stuff in them because i'd want him to enjoy them, not rip them apart trying to read them.

Aww, that's sweet. I did the same for my boyfriend, kinda. I folded 100 paper hearts and inside was a message or why I loved him, and on the other side was "I love you" in a different language. I gave on to him every day for 100 days.

like everyone else said, that's so sweet.
maybe one day i'll find someone who i can do something like that with but for all i know that person might be right under my nose.
there's so much turmoil going on among my group of friends nowadays.

same. I should do something like that for my freind sarah's birthday cause I always miss hers ohmy.gif and I feel so bad about it because she really is my best freind. I like her above all else.

I'm not sure I'd do oragamy stars tho...maybe I'll do a different pattern, I donno, but that's really cute blush.gif

aww thats so cute. what i was planning to do for my friends birthday was give her a copy of sadako and the thousand paper cranes and make her 999 cranes in a jar and have her read it =)

I know and I also made one of those korean penguins <3<3. It was like the 10000 piece of paper thing and you had to fold them all the same way and put them together and all...woah was that a big headache x.x
