centering your text. Options

i dont really know how to put this into words but here it goes..


i want my text centered in my entry. so in my "xTools - Weblog Entry" (where you type your entry for the day) i put <center> before all my text and it shows up in that box but when i click submit, & i view it in regular view, its still off to the left. what am i doing wrong?

if you want all your entries center i have the code for that but if you want to do it by using the weblog hit edit html then do this
<center>text here</center>

and i think i did try to put the </center> at the end of my entry, also but i dont think that worked either but i can always try again

well for the entrie you have to hit edit html then do <center>test here</center>
