I edit films (usually my OWN footage) but I was practicing last night on editing to music because it's fun and I grabbed my Blade Trinity DVD and took scenes that are specifically unique to the character Abigal *Abby* in the film.

READ THE DISCLAIMER on the site while the video loads. Because I PROMISE I am not claming anything to do with the actual film. I just got bored.

That's the link to the video. If you have any questions you can PM me and if someone decides that this video is not allowed on CB or something crazy (because honestly I'm just showin you guys what I want to do for a living) then they can close this. But if you want to please give a justifyable reason. I really worked hard on this and want to show people and just get comments on the editing.

Reply if you like it, hate it, or just think I should do better. <3 you guys.

Most of the information (answers to questions I thought you guys might have) is on the page. I grew up in a family that does post-production so yes i've had training. Blahhhhhh K GO WATCH!!

PS. Yes i know the video looks *Dark* that's because it was originally shot on FILM (prob 35 mm or something) and it's meant for a TV...sowwwwy. Also it's kind of very very compressed so if it looks awful i'm sorry, but I had to compress it so you could download it faster. I feel sorry for people with dial Up tongue.gif

awww you really should because it's worth it. Also a TON (i mean a TON) of movie trailers (like regular trailers) use quicktime. And quicktime usually works better than real player or wmp when streaming. You should get it even if it's not just to watch this. It's an awesome thing really.

That's like...Amazing. The end is the best part. The only con I have to say is that in one part of the video, near the middle, when you made all the real short clips in row, it seemed off the beat by a really small amount. Maybe that was just me though...

Yeah I just moved it--> The whole thing was off 3 frames. I realized that too when she was *saving the girl* that it had actually gotten shifted right before exporting in Final Cut Pro *Sigh*

Noooooooo I hate I-movie (sowwwwy) blink.gif I did it on FINAL CUT PRO like it says on the page??...which is a LOT harder to learn. I've worked with it for 3 years now. biggrin.gif ....it's a really nice program but very complex and a lot of people in the music and film industry use it (along with Avid and Vegas 4.0)

But thankies for your comment; It's just not as easy as some people think. The techno is NOT my remix.

Oh i totally would because i've heard resident evil is good and i LOVE that song...but i haven't seen resident evil and I refuse to make a music video until i've seen the movie first (because you cannot really make one unless you know the plot). I need to see that movie.

I really want to use the remix of milkshake and make one with king arthur (B/c there are some really sneaky shady clips in there and it would be sooo funny)...I know it sounds weird right now, but just you wait!

Oh no--i work in my mother's recording/post production studio. She owns all the main production/post production programs (photoshop, final cut pro, pro tools) and i get to use them for my job with her and then take my laptop home and use them there too. It's for our jobs mainly, but they are nice to use at home too _smile.gif
