who else is anticipating this? i love how it's going to be dark and all. i wish it were pg 13, then the war could be shown a little more graphically.

you know the best part tho?

amy lee's supposed to have a cameo...
and she wrote the theme song

(for those of you who don't know who amy lee is, that's her in my ghetto sig.)

it's like... epic... like, this one's liek LOTRs, right? cus of the humoungo war.

and then the other ones...

it's going to be much better than harry potter. and much longer than LOTRs.

oh, i wish they'd just screw the kids (that sounds wrong) and just go with a pg-13 rating.

i googled it for movie info and i found their site, i thought that it was a litte creepy at first because i was afraid that something was going to pop out but it's so nice laugh.gif

Yah i'm def going to see that movie. They are making it dark tho? I haven't kept up with it, i just know they are making it. I watched the old movies all the time as a kid, and i used to read the books :) So I def can't wait until this movie comes out :)
It's coming out this December..
hm, i checked the site and the films not rated yet.

--edit--
hm, watched the teaser trailer and behind the scene stuff. They filmed it in New Zealand, and are using WETA workshop for their effects and stuff. Lol, just like Lord Of The Rings. It doesnt' look dark or nething, just looks like Lord of The Rings, except with children as the main characters and different creatures. lol. It looks good tho, i'll def be seeing it. :) Disney is making it which is interesting, and the guy who directed both Shrek movies, so i'm def interested in seeing how it will turn out

ARGH, by looks of that trailer it does'nt carry the same presence as the book. Seems as if there just trying to cash in on the LOTR idea before it passes out.

Were you talking about the BBC videos they did in the eighties (those were FANTABULOUS) or the cartoon (just as fantabulous)?

I want to watch this.. badly. xD I've read all of the series packed in this humungous book when I was younger, so. Yeah.
Plus, it opens on my birthday, December 9th.
-
It would've been better though, if HP & GoB was open on my birthday too. But other than that, I'm content.

I read the book in 4th grade and the book was a bit better than the movie. I always think my imagination is better.
But the movie was really awsome. 2 thumbs up for that movie. Everything from the effects and the animals were truely amazing. The whole story and meaning itself was wow.

I saw this movie with my mom. We both really enjoyed it, but it was a little bit more difficult to enjoy because we had both seen King Kong before it.

But I really enjoyed the war scene. I'm a sucker for those kinda scenes. Although, there was never once an ounce of blood shown in the movie. I know that it's PG... but c'mon!
