sigh. yes, i left the lights on. and my battery went dead. i hate that car. (84 tercel). next week i get a 96 accord which dings in the lights are on and the driver door opens. gah.

oh well. got a ride to where i needed to go, when i got back jumpstarted the car. had to do it a few times because the battery wasn't charging right.

did i mention i hate my car? here's a list of things wrong with it:

-steering aligment way out- it can take rightward bends in the road all by itself.
-speakers broken.
-speedometer broken (completely no tachometer, which is crap)
-AC broken
-heater broken
-windshield cracked and pitted in many places
-engine leaking oil
-fuel guage broken
-interior is much messed up.
-dent in the roof from a tree falling on it.

oh well. rode the car around a few times and got a charge in the battery. at least the engine and stuff work.

(did i mention, in the middle of the jump, it started raining?)

oh yea it was fun.

zap.

it could be your battery, or it can be your alternator could be wared down from time and it might not be charging right. So check your battery and have you or some1 check the alternator.

to fix it up, i bet would cost more the car's value

lol

but i'd handle all the safety issues first. might be a piece of crap, but it has to be at least a piece of crap that is safe.
