hi, i was thinking how could i put a picture on a background? the picture i want to put on has a white background, but i want jhust the picture (piglet) on my pink background. i was thinking of cropping th eimage but icant do it without cutting parts off, can u help? thanks

You need a program like psp or ps or even ms paint.

erase the white background and fill it in with what you want.
it thinks thats what you are asking.

here go to this tutorial, and download the program call Giffy, it is way at the bottom of the tut.

that program makes any file types with .bmp or .gif file transparency.

thanks. but i stil dont get how to make a picture of piglet transparant. the white background is rounded around piglet and its hard to go around it.

If you have photoshop, you could use the pen tool.

and to make piglet transparent, you could just lower the opacity.

If the entire background is white, use the magic wand tool, select all of the background, and then delete.

i tried that but then when i select it. and move it to the backgground the white background goes along with it.

i got that but when i press delete my picture does not have a checkedred background like on the tutorial.

.... New image. Select all -> new image w/ transparent bg -> paste it in.

Under file. It might be new canvas.... Whatever you use to make a new image to start working with. -.-u Is it really that hard to figure out?
