midol.., for teens??

when i get cramps they hurt.. ALOT.. i cry at night.. my mom stays up with me.. and i take tylenol like when i go to school and stuff.. but i'm just wondering.. can teens take midol.. im scared to take them if i'm not sure.. because in commericals only grown up women come out and i've never seen midol in stores so i dunno the age limit and stuff.. plzz do not make fun of me.. that i cry.. and stuff tongue.gif

of course teens can take midol. it's almost the same as tylenol.

for me, i dont get cramps all that bad, but some of my friends get it really bad. they take midol to help them, so why not? try it out

anyone can take midol..

Go ahead, use it, it's just like any other painkiller though. Watch how much you take. And if you have to use it excessively, i'd suggest you go see a doctor. Midol is definately for teens, I think it's actually targeted for teens and young adults...

actually I would suggest taking advil. I was reading an article the other day that said ibuprophen is the best for cramps. thats what I always take. Advil liquigels. I've tried everything, and that kicks in the fastest and lasts the longest. And I know exactly how you feel. I have dysmenorrea, means I have really bad cramps (I'm bed ridden for hours sometimes) and other pms side effects. Advil is my friend. Its can be your too. lol.

they have midol thats actually called teen midol. i have it.

Yes of course you can take it. I suggest you do since it sounds like you recieve a lot of pain from cramps.

advil doesnt do shit ffor me... it kicks in after like 4 hours after i take it ..-___-

midol's great. theres like 10 different kinds ...

its just a pain reducer .. why wouldn't teens be able to take it?? ..and i believe they make a "TEEN" one too... i believe.. if that helps :)

yeah, don't worry about it. i use either tylenol or motrin preferably, but if it works for you, then go ahead.

yeah my cramps were never that bad where i had to take medicine. or they only lasted 2 minutes. anyways, both my sisters have cramps like crazy. so they take advil. but midol can work. ;D

i dont know. i know people who take it and it seems ot be working. just on the safe side i think you should ask a doctor.

i take midol, [like everyone says.. its fine] and its not weird that you cry when u have cramps. i do too. *just dont take 5 midol and drink coke/pepsi, cuz it makes u wacked out...guess u could call it a high tongue.gif

yes, teens can take midol. if you aren't sure, why don't you ask your doctor for recommendations? i take advil, and that works for me. and if your cramps get soo bad then you can sit with a heating pad also on your stomach. but yes, of course it's okay to take midol. _smile.gif

Yeah, take midol, advil or tylenol for your cramps
if they're hurting you that much.
It's no biggie if you cry.
Pain comes with everything.
I don't take any sort of pills for my cramps.
That is because I don't get any.
Or the pain's there but I can't feel it.

Oh yeah.
If you wanna cut back on the cramping,
eat less sugar and try to do some
exercises that relieves tension.
Drink plenty of water too.

i used to take Midol all the time but now i just take that special womans Tylenol.. takes like 20 - 30 mins to work but hey

i love pamprin and midol
they work well
and yeah you can take them if you are a teen
