any advice on how to walk in high heeled shoes?
p.s. does anyone have an example they could show me of good starter high heels? if so could they show me thank you... |

Before you have to wear them just practice walking around in them at home...you'll get better. And, when you're walking don't look at your feet too much - look forward, it may help your balance. Practice makes perfect.

just walk on ur tippy toes a bit and then put them on relax and walk normally.. it works for me.. or practice a bit.

Dont buy stilletos as your first pair of heels.
Try buying THICK heels. |

first pair of heels.. i suggest wedges. they're adorable and are totally in. they also give your feet a lot more support.

Wear low heels first and pratice. Then go for the higher one once you're good at it.

My friend told me that if you put a band-aid on your heel then it doesn't hurt as much and you just keep trying. That really didn't help did it..

just keep your balance.
and buy the kind with a thicker (bigger?) heel. not the ones with heels like a stick. xP |

^ I agree. I hate those really thin heels because you can twist your ankle really easily. Try not too put too much weight on your feet. Walk in a straight line, confidently. Think graceful and light.

Yeah, that sucked for me. I had to wear reallyreallyreally thin stick heels for this trip, all dressed up. Yeah, I think I twisted my ankle that night. After that, I just started practicing with the medium heels, not very high off the ground.
