yet another holiday has passed, [4th of July], n I've spent this one alone.
Its depressing driving past the fireworks and the people only to know that because my whole family's outta town, cept me, I'm stuck....alone...again.

Has anyone else gone through this before? It sucks.

Hmm... somewhat. My cousins are older than me and a few of my peer cousins. They kind of went to watch the fireworks... and me and my peer cousins are left. It was kind of depressing.

What a bummer.
You should've called up some friends or something dude.

No. This hasn't happened to me. I don't let stuff like that happen.

I spend basically every holiday alone, but I almost prefer that. I did, however, party with a few friends last night, but that was the first time I've done anything with a friend for a holiday since I was a little kid, so I know how you feel.

Aww *pat on the head* Fourth of July alone can't be that bad, but then again, Canada Day (Fourth of July counterpart) isn't a very big deal here.

Aww.. I'm sorry to hear that. But there is an upside to this.. You'll appreciate those holidays spent with the people you care about. Too often we just take things for granted.

I hate it when I'm home, lonely & pathetic, reading someone's xanga about the terrific and exhilirating day they had. It makes me feel left out especially if I know the person.
