ive been going out with my girlfriend for about 5 months now and it seems like we are drifting apart a little... i was wondering if it is ever to late to just suddenly chancge the way you act or do things in order to help strengthen the releationship..

i know that the best thing to do is to talk to her and i plan on doing that, but i know this might be a good way too.

things i want to do to change are to be a bit more romantic, because it seems like we lack that part of our relationship.. say things like hold her hand more, kiss her more, just be more romantic in general..

any suggestions or views on this? thanks..

maybe if you do it subtley [sp?], but it'd probably be weird if you did it all of a sudden. it might seem like you're too clingy or something

do things step by step. don't all of a sudden spring out full loaded romantic hotness on her. it'll creep her out a bit. it's 5 months now, so that's a decent amount of time to get more romantic. if she asks why, just say that u want to strengthen ur relationship with her and that u love her. or something like that.

gluck with it. happy.gif

i always believe that constant things die out too fast. like if you guys have too much of a routine, the flame will eventually get smaller and things won't be as hot as they started out as.

what keeps a good relationship going is constant change (at least in my point of view). take her to places you guys haven't been. cook for her! --girls LOVE that.

just--if everyday is just the same thing between the two of you, of course the relationship will fade, what do you expect?

you just have to try and spice things up. and maybe change things a little. get a little closer to her? do things with her that you haven't before?

just.. talking won't help too much. don't just sit there and hope she loves you more. you have to do something!

as for the thread title--it's NOT too late to change

Ah. I've been in this girl's position before and she's probably looking for ways to spice up the relationship too. But as for your part.. I agree with all the people up there.

yeah you got a good start. if she's your gf, that means she'll want you to hold her hand, kiss her, hug her etc. dont hold back. and i dont think it's too late to change, as long both of you are willing to try in the relationship.

The touchy-feel-y stuff. Holding hands, doing something romantic, doing something to remind her that you are there with her.
