Ever had a near to death experience?, Does your life flash before your eyes... Options

Cycling on the road today, raining and all, stopped by a cross road and the woman opposite me didn't seem to notice me crossing the road. She ran her 4X4 Landrover right into me, made me go flying 10 meters before skidding another 5 meters on the wet ground. As I heard the 4X4 engine and glimpsing the incoming fog light to my right, I seemd to recall my life flashing past me, it felt too wierd, got up after like 5 minutes to find my bike pretty much manngled by her 4X4 and my arms unable to move. The rain pattering on my face, my eyes dimmed and the wet ground felt like blood pouring from my head. Lucky I got taken to the hospital, and lucky my helmet saved me. Have you had any experiences when you thought that you would die?

When I was 5 i went into a ppol I didnt know how to swin so then I acidentally walk into the deep end and I start to drown I thought I was gonna die, but someone saved me because I woke up in a room I thought I died.

Nearly the same experiance, but it was more of some teenager in my neighborhood going 40+MPH. I dount really count that as the near death experience. I count trying to suicide one my experience. =/

i got a scary one.

i went boating at this big-ass lake with my dad, my sister, and my godfather about 2 years ago.

and my dad and my godfather started swimming away, and my sister stayed on the boat, so i decided to go in the water too.

i was close to the boat, when, all-of-a-sudden, i felt something pull me under and my first reaction was like "WTF!" so i started struggling and i managed to grab on to the edge of the boat--but it was so big i couldn't climb on. and my sister saw me struggling and started screaming at my dad and godfather and they started swimming towards me (but they were like 300m away).

and i was like "this is just like in those movies--like jaws or whatever" cuz i had NO IDEA what was pulling me in.

and i could barely hold on cuz it jerked me all the way underwater and the struggling didn't work. and just when i thought i couldn't take it anymore--and i felt like maybe this was it for me--i felt release.

and i suddenly wasn't being pulled under anymore.

and when i got up on the boat, a piece of a fishing net was stuck onto my pants.

apparently a big-ass fishing net almost drowned me cuz it had caught me by the foot.

i guess i just wasn't meant to die that day.

but i guess i know what it feels like to be a fish.

one time when i was swimming and my cousin didn't know how to swim she came to the deep end on a ball and she slipped and jumped on my head. her weight was drowning me and my mom was just looking at me waving thinking we were playing . so anyways i was drowning and life didnt flash before my eyes but i was losing breath. and since at the time i couldnt swim with 130lbs on my head i had to go tiptoe in and out of the water. jumping from the floor to the top to gasp for air. ah and i finally made it but i got mad at my cuz and told her to lose weight. haha that was mean
but ive had around 3 death experiences and that was the first.

i almost fell off the side of a mountain. someone caught me. i dont really count it as a near death experience and my life didnt flash before my eyes but i heard that your life does flash before your eyes before you die.

no. not really. i did almost drown one time in my pool whenever i was like 9 but it wasn't a biggy. :|

anywho, i nearly died 3-4 years ago during winter break. i had a weird fever thing that got up to 114. which means i should've died..but i didn't. funny little world isn't it.

Anyways,
I once almost drowned but luckily I saved myself. I really thought I was going to die b/c no one was there to help me but good thing I decided to try to save myself anyways.

When I was 7 or 8, I stabbed myself with a pencil. I thought I was going to die of poisoning and loss of blood. Well that wasn't a near death experience, I just wanted to share this fond memory of mine. Lol.

when i was a toddler, i was wearing one of those tubes but it had an openingin the back. i jumped in the pool and the tube thing like came off cuz of the opening...and i almost DROWNED. but my bro saved me

Oh my God, that must've been REALLY scary. Damn that stupid woman!!

Near death experience? It was when I was around 3 and I was sucked into one of the machines or something in a water park. I fainted and some people found me and took me to my parents. I don't remember much about it, but it was a really bad experience.

I've almost drowned in the ocean a couple times but my life never flashed before my eyes... i was too worried about getting my head above the water so I could breath... thankfully i did

1. when my mom had me, something went wrong with me, but they fixed it right away.
2. i swallowed a lot coins because i was mad at my mom that i was literally choked from it. i couldnt breathe. i almost died from it.
3. when i went to the hospital, the nurse did a needle shot on me, but she used the wrong one, so my tongue was acting like as if it was possessed from the devil. my tongue was going down to my throat that choked me a lot, but the doctors grab my tongue and fixed it.
4. i fell off the playground slide when i was little. the playground slide is so tall too. when i watched this cartoon that flies... i thought i can fly too, so i tested it out. but i end up getting a leg injury in my left leg. my head was on the ground with full of sharp small rocks. if it went inside my eyes, i could've die or get blind.
5. i was playing with my friends next to this not that tall apartment. i was so close to it. and BOOM. an explosion appeared from the apartment that i flew across the grass. my both arm was weak and bit bleeding. the firefighters put bandages over me and i walked home telling them that i was okay and strong.
6. i was practicing my swimming lessons in the middle of the pool at alaska. my teacher was busy teaching the students about stuff. and suddenly i lost my board that i was going into the deep water. i remember i drank lots of water from it. i was actually drowning from it... and suddenly, it felt like someone was saving me from above. someone grabbed me to the deck. and i opened my eyes. i was right next to the deck. i was saved. and my swimming teacher was still paying attention to her students not me... what a GOOD teacher (sarcastic)
