so my friends have been saying that mariah carey dislikes/hates asians? i have been wondering...is this true or false? thanks.

i'm not saying it's true or anything so don't hate her yet.

I don't know, that's what I read in a couple of articles that she said the Queen line. She's been in Japan many times and her music video to the song "Boy (I need you)" was in Tokyo and had a lot of Asians in it... blink.gif

I heard that Mariah Carey disliked Asians because they "ate her dog". Well, hardly anyone in my sister's school likes Mariah Carey. They find her too conceited, arrogant, and narcissistic. She thinks too much of herself. Erghh.

She might've said that as a joke. I'm sure someone her age and status wouldn't be so immature as to still say something like that. And if she really does hate Asians, that's just eliminating a majority of the world from buying her CD's.

I've never heard of that rumour either, but I would definitely choose not to buy her CD because she was racist against Asians.

that sounds a lot like the rumour that Tommy hilfiger hated black people, when brandy modeled for his ads, and beyonce has a fragrance with him. Sound like crap to me. I cant stand her cuz she over sings and really seems to think she IS queen.

Hey, dont' hate her because of a rumor. I don't think anyone is sure if that's true. If people started hating her for something that wasn't true, it would totally ruin her career for nothing. And that's another unpleasant thing about being a celebrity..

As a multi-racial person, Mariah has received criticism and prejudice in her life for her own racial background, so it?s absurd to think that she would be racist against any group of people. Ah whatever, tabloids and all these headliners want to make money and ruin people's careers and life. However if it is true, then so be it. She'll probably loose a great amount of Asian fans, and a decline in her cd sales. so yeah.

You all might wanna read the posts before you actually post because "Days Nearly Over" cleared things up quite nicely. Also I doubt someone who is Hispanic, Black, and White could hate anybody because of their race.

Even though it was a joke, it still sounds harsh. I mean it's like saying "Your mother is an @ssh0le........................ it was only a joke" yeah it's like the same thing. both is harsh.
