Choose 'strong' then. Strong is the same as bold, or go to the top bar, click windows > paragraph. Look for the text icon that`s bolder than normal, and click that.

Maybe if you downloaded the font, you didn't carry the 'bolded' version of the installed font onto your computer's actual font folder?
