im really not sure, if i like him or not Options

hes 17 and im 14.

last summer, he used to like my best friend. i helped him get over it when she turned him down. now i think he likes me.

during this summer we've become really close...over the phone. ever since we got "close" we havent seen eachother..literally. im pretty sure he likes me but im not sure what to think. if we do go out, it will basically be a long distance relationship because we never see eachother.

if i think about it, i dont like him. i just say to myself "we're just friends" but when someone asks me who i like he automatically pops into my head. maybe im just picky.

i dont think anyone can help me but im hoping that someone can at least point me in the right direction.

i don't think you should go out with him. long distance relationships never work out. (i know, everyone says that, but it's true). that's great that he's your best friend, you wouldnt want to ruin that. and you arent 100 percent positive he likes you more than a friend. BUT, if you really do like him you should go for it.

if you like him go for him.. but just prepare the long not seeing hiim phases.. nothing can sto pyou from liking him but to me it seems that staying friends are better than boyfriends

based on what you said, you probably can infer that you do like him.

but sometimes, your actions reflect what you think are your priorities.

a long distance relationship, to most people, doesn't usually work out too well. but if you really like him that much, some people believe it's worth the risk of heartache or longing--others don't.

i guess you just gotta ask yourself, "is this worth it?"

is it worth a whole lotta pain that might come up being so far apart? is it worth the heartache?

If you're having such a hard decision, obviously you're not ready for a real relationship. Especially a long-distance relationship. It takes a LOT of commitment to be in a relationship from far away and you have to love this person enough to continue it despite your "physical distance". Just keep him in mind and sort things out in your brain before you ask him out or do something drastic. You guys are best off friends before you come to a definite conclusion. Like I always say, DON'T RUSH THINGS!
