Your best bet is to burn a movie file to a CD using a program that can create DVD's (iDVD on the Mac; I used WinDVD Creator on Windows, but I don't really know what else is out there). The DVD will then be playable on any standard DVD player.

DVD's store video encoded in MPEG-2; the audio can be a number of fomats, including PCM, DTS, MPEG audio, or Dolby digital. But, if you see my post above, I noted that if you use DVD (or VCD) creation software, the DVD should play back on any standard DVD player.

Gspot determines what codec you need.
And really, don't download commercial movies or episodes or anything. Buy the real DVD. |

anyways, it's the XVID Codec and the Divx....use Bsplayer to play them That's only for AVI files though and don't ask me where to download the codecs, google them And there are only 2 dvd players out there now that can Support .avi files I think Man, Why the heck don't you google all this crap??? |

QUOTE(sk8ter4life750 @ Jun 29 2005, 10:21 AM) Not all movies you download on the internet are not illegal. But Nero DVD rom will put the codec in there for ya.
