Play music automatically and shuffle playlist, Bloody hell, I can't find it anywhere! Options

I know this was probably discussed in another topic, however I can't narrow down the search enough to give me adequate results.

I'd like my drop down menu to play the music automatically and then to shuffle through the songs in my playlist.
My playlist works great - and my songs are fun!

How do I go about doing that though?
