ok so i was just riding in the car with my parents, and suddenly out of no where my dad is like 'we should get a harley (motorcycle) and cruise the highways!' lol i couldn't imagine my dad, a middle aged asian man riding a harley
 have your parents ever surprised you by showing maybe a wild side, that might have been from their teenage years or w.e. that you've never seen before? (i couldn't find a similar topic to this so...) |

My parents don't really surprise me that much. They're very predictable. However, my mom did go through a phase a few months ago where she sincerely wanted to get her navel pierced. She's 44, and certainly doesn't need any new body piercings, in my opinion.

I think its "harley" but who cares, ya, my dad went through his midlife crisis a few years ago and bought a whole bunch of high-tech gear, and he used to be really old-fashioned.

i used to think my parents were dull
then my dad started taking me to concerts and enjoyed them. he started asking for pink shirts because "real men wear pink." and he became a local celebrity by simply walking the mall every single day. (you'd be surprised by how many people know my as "tom the mall walker's daughter) i also thought my mom was dull. then we started listening to the same music. she began to show me pictures from concerts she went to. she's stuffed my mind full of pop trivia from the 60's, 70's, and 80's. and she told me some of the things she did as a teenager. my mom was badass. still is. haha basically, my parents are pretty cool. |

Haha my dad is the wild one. especially when he was a teenager. like when he tried to be tarzan and jumped off a 3 story building and didn't catch the rope, yep he showed me the stitches and everything. he use to have a motorcycle too. anyway...
but my dad sometimes suprises me when he swears at people, like i'll be sitting there watching tv with him and out of nowhere he'll go "yea b*tch i'll stick that up your a** sideways" ouch. haha i love my dad he's so cool.

Yes ^^ I always thought my mom hated clothes that looked 'dirty' but a few days ago we went shopping to forever 21 and there was this top there that looked pretty 'dirty' I wanted it but I didn't tell her since I assumed that she wouldn't get it for me anyway. When we passed by it, my mom said "Hey, this looks pretty cute, do you want it?" I was like "Oh. O.o Sure!" lol

my parents aren't wild like that...but they're cool.
last weekend they made me go on a bus tour thing with thme because when you buy two tickets you get one free...so they made me come. it wasn't at all as bad as i thought it would be, they're so funny and they say such horrible but hilarious things about other people.
