Ok. I like this guy (Well, I don't really know with me I can't tell but I wouldn't mind going out with him) we'll call him, Alex. Alex likes me and wants to go out with me, but i don't know if I should because I don't want to ruin a good friendship. Also, I always feel all awkward around guys I like, I can never be myself, it's annoying. Some help here?

And It's already going to be sort of awkward because he asked me out and all that.

for me... i went out wif one of mai best guy friends... and i felt so awkward around him that like i nvr ever talked to him, and he nvr talked to me (even though we were like best friends). i broke up wif him. and like we're okay. its juss that i don't trust him as much as i did before. and like our friendship changed a lot. it's prolly either the fact that we went out together or becuz he changed ( cus fyi he like changed his attitude and that's the main reason why i dumped him). so i think... are u willing to risk ur friendship? i mean ive know relationships that started wif strong friendships and after the break up they were still good friends. but i mean it may happen like it did for me? r u even sure that u like him? do u really see him as bf material?

hmmmm well, even if you did turn him down, it would be kinda akward, but at least you'd still have his friendship. Which is more important? do you really like him enough to risk your friendship for a possibly really good friendship? Just be sure of your decision before going through with it _smile.gif

It's better to act yourself. And think for awhile about wanting to go out with him. Are you interested in him? Just do whatever you think is better.

if you're thinking of going with him, tell him straight out that IF you guys break up you still want the two of you to remain friends.
if not then i guess it'll still feel awkward

are you willing to take risk of making your relationship with him better or worse? it depends... if you think youll go somewhere with this, then by all means, go out with him...

well if the friendship is strong enough, even after you guys break up, i'm sure you guys could pick up from where you left off.
