I've seen too many topics with questions on how to lose fat or weight. I'm sorry if this is repetative or whatever. Here are just a few ways to lose the weight. Although you will gain muscle (and muscle does weigh more than fat) it is better. If you would like to add more, please be my guest.

1. Do not go on crash diets-these do not help you. You'll be hungry.

2. Don't go anorexic or bolimic. That is just disgusting.

3. To get the abs: Don't only do crunches. Do other exercises like bike maneuver and planks.

4. Run. Run a lot. Use a treadmill, run around the neighborhood, just run. Running will help you lose it. 2-3 times a week is good if you run longer distances. If not, you can run daily with shorter distances.

5. Go to the gym. The gym will help. Lift some weights, and do some cardio.

6. Do pilates or yoga.

7. Eat healthier, and cut back on the junk food such as chocolate, chips, etc.

I suggest that you not only do one of these. Do a combination, and you'll get the body soon. If you want a body, you have to work for it. It's not magic. Good luck, and I hope this helped. But remember, don't overwork yourself

Lol. You're welcome.

Thanks snak3y. Yup, drink lots of water. Soda has too much sugar, and includes caffeine. I'm trying myself these things. Lol.
Angelic: Good luck. It'll work.

actually Cardio is the best way to loose weight and build up muscle mass and endurance because it changes the bodys aerobic breathing to anaerobic breathing which allows you to do more and still have energy reserves at hand which speeds up your blood pressure and volume thus more oxygen delivery to tissues and bone and drinking water is essential as well as protein because when running or doing any kind of excercise synthesis of protein fats increase so replacing them is essential but remember start out slow begin with a 10 minute work out and then over a period of time increase it to 40 or even 60 minutes the slower your pace is the better chance of loosing weight and becoming healthier

Thanks. biggrin.gif

It is a lot of hard work, but it pays off in the long run. You'll have a healthier body/lifestyle, and you'll look great! I also suggest that even after getting the body you've wanted, that you keep working out to maintain it.

Great post!!
My problem is I hate to exercise, especially running. But I recently purchased a great cardio work video and it's not bad. I actually don't mind doing it and it's a great work out. Tae Bo -- Total Body Fat Blaster, by Billy Blanks. happy.gif

Next on my list of workout videos is Carmen Electra's workout. I think it's called "Strip to be fit." or something like that. hehe

Lol. Carmen's video sounds umm...weird, but hopefully it'll work, I guess. Cardio helps a lot, especially videos. Haha.

losing weight is actually very simple. i mean, actually doing it is hard, but the concept is simple.

burn more calories than you consume.

so basically eating enough to make you full, but exercising enough to burn more calories that you ate.

the more calories you eat, the harder it is to burn it all off, so eating healthy is helpful to burn less calories. drinking water is healthy because it has no calories, unlike other drinks, and can make you feel more full.

yeah.

Exactly. You took the words right out of my mouth. Lol. Thanks everyone for the comments. Bulimic, I always get mixed up on that.
Yah, I hate it when really skinny people think they're fat. So many people in my school do that, and they start going anorexic, and go crazy, and rumours spread. Geez... mad.gif It just makes me mad. But hey, it's their lives. *shrugs* I'm going for the exercise. laugh.gif

Before attempting any exercise, make sure you stretch out first to avoid possible injury. Here, I found an article on it. [Be Flexible]

Same here. I like loooove to eat, but exercise is still part of what I do. Also, a specific suggestion is jump rope. It's a good exercise, and quite enjoyable. Learn some new tricks, etc. And yes, stretch stretch streeeetch. Especially before and after lifting weights. I have experienced some pain from not having stretched after weights. But when I did, it really helped a lot. I've also heard kickboxing works, so you could give it a try. boxing.gif

The eating healthier thing: this means eat LOTS and I mean like a sh*tload of fruits! Whenever I eat fruits, I feel so much healthier and burn weight so much quicker. Like... like... BAM!

a lot of people are saying that its hard to replace their food with healthy food. healthy food doesn't mean you have to become a bunny. eating junk just means you have to exercise a hell of a lot more.

what really helps is replacing your drink. fraps, coffee, soda, all that junk contains more calories than you can imagine. i drank nothing but water and milk for half a year, and it helped me lose weight.

Thanks. tongue.gif I really hope it does help. Mmm...fruits can be replaced for junk foods too. They do have sugar, but they're natural, and healthy. Apples, pears, peaches? Try those. Yummy.
