it seems a bit silly to spend so much money on clothes though. i hate buying expensive clothes. why pay $145 for shoes when you can buy similar ones for $20?

BAPE doesn't only come out with shoes.. they have a whole haute couture line. Literally haute couture. That's why their stuff is so expensive, and if you go into a retail store, you're only allowed to buy one item. Personally.. I think Nigo's shoes are pretty crappy...
I did an assignment on this guy. There's a reason he calls it the Bathing Ape; to make fun of people that go for his clothes due to the label, and it's funny still seeing people pay a load of money trying to get his brand name. |

i don't see what's so special about bape, but my brother LOVES it.
just last month, he ordered $3,000 worth of bape products.  i bought a kaws hoodie for him on christmas, and it costed more than $1000. RIDICULOUS. why are the prices so high? anyone know? btw, you could tell a fake bape shirt from a real one by looking at the seams on the side. i've come by more fake ones than authentic. and they STILL cost like $300+. PREPOSTEROUS. there MUST be some sort of rule against this.

I just learned about a new brand, Bathing Ape, and they have these shoes that look just like Air Force Ones, but have awesome colors and crazy materials!
