Alan, Betty, and Claire are all my friends, and they really really trust me.
Alan and Betty are couples. (They keep their relationship secretive, though Claire knows about it.)
Alan and Claire are ex-couples. (This relationship is not secretive.)
Betty and Claire are good friends.
Claire still likes Alan.
Alan told me all about he meets Claire behind Betty's back. (edit: Alan refuses to tell me what they did behind Betty's back, Betty found out that Alan and Claire had a hangout without her before, but doesn't know that they hang out at a regular basis.)

My opinion: I am so sure that Betty will find out eventually, but I just don't want her to know that I have known this for a long time without telling her, meaning I am lying to her. Also, there is a rumor spreading in half of the school that I am with Alan, which most of the people I know are from the other half of the school, but Alan belongs to the half where the rumor is spreading. I didn't tell Betty about the rumor too.

Question: Should I tell Betty about what Alan and Claire did behind her back? Or just keep it secretive?

Another edit: Since A, B, and C seemed like confusing to the advicers, I changed them to fake names. So Alan now represents A, Betty represents B, and Claire represents C.

Oooh, that's so hard.

First of all, A shouldn't have been sneaking around like that in the first place.

I think you should tell A exactly what you think about everything. You might wanna try telling him that he should tell B rather than keep on with a bad relationship...

But if he won't tell her, you might have to do it yourself, although it'd be best for B to hear it from him rather than hearing it from someone else... or worse, finding out herself...

Well...

Just do what you think is right.

ohmy.gif

that's disgusting, B and C are good friends and C had the audacity to mess around with A...

but wait a second...does C know about the secret relationship...? if she doesn't then in a way...she really isn't doing anything wrong...

you should definately confront A about this before he ruins B and C's friendship.

Exactly. She will find out soon enough. You shouldnt put yourself in the midst of drama. Now is B asked you then thats another story...

wait, b & c like each other, that's either.. queer or a typo, I'm guessing the latter, but neway, if they're just hanging out, why's it a problem? or are they hanging out like b.f. and g.f.? if they're doing the latter, u should let B know.

<edit> actually, nm, I say go with mzkandi, let it go, unless B asked u about it.

^ You took the words right out of my mouth.
Hmm...it would be easier if you use fake names.

Just give Betty hints. Let her find it by herself.
Plus, you should also advice Alan and Claire to stop what they're doing coz Alan already has a girlfriend.

you should tell A to pick either B or C. he cant keep double timing them both for very long. he'd get caught up in a lie somewhere. As for what to tell B and C, i think you should let A take care of that.
