brush help... Options

You see, I always use Gimp and I make Gimp brushes, but every time I make them, there's a border around the brush.

Here's an example:



When I made the brush, the background was transparent... which I think I'm supposed to do.

Do you think maybe it's because I resized part of an image and pasted it onto the layer to make the brush?

If you don't understand what I mean, just ask and I'll try to clarify.

Hmm...try making it without the transparent background and see what happens. Even though the transparent background probably isn't the cause, its still worth a shot, right? If thats not it, then use the transparent background.

Or maybe it could be the program that your using? The resizing of the image might be the problem, but I don't see why it would create the border.
